I roam around my Gaster's lab, his partners once roamed and worked hard to discover a way out of this place we call the underground as humans out there got a luxury.

I decide to stare at a note, picking it up from beside the broken machine since this was their last note before the "accident" happened. *𝖨 𝖺𝗆 𝗌𝗎𝗋𝖾 𝖺𝖻𝗈𝗎𝗍 𝗂𝗍, 𝗁𝖾 𝖽𝖾𝗌𝖾𝗋𝗏𝖾𝖽 𝗂𝗍. *. . . *𝖱𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍? I sighed, frustrated.

I threw the note, ashamed of myself for murdering Gaster on purpose. I kneeled infront of the machine and stared at it.

*𝖦𝖺𝗌𝗍𝖾𝗋, 𝖺𝗋𝖾 𝗒𝗈𝗎 𝗌𝗎𝗋𝖾 𝖺𝖻𝗈𝗎𝗍 𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗌? Sans showed concern for this experiment since it involved messing with the power of DETERMINATION after Gaster saw how it worked due to Chara.

Gaster placed Chara's SOUL in the tube with strange yellow liquid inside, he hesitated on pressing a red button. *𝖸𝖺 𝗈𝗄𝖺𝗒, 𝖦𝖺𝗌𝗍𝖾𝗋? *𝖭𝗈.. Gaster still hesitated but pressed the red button, believing Sans words. He backed up after feeling Chara's SOUL accumulate in the air but in exchange, Chara's SOUL broke into two pieces. *𝖳𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝗐𝖺𝗌𝗇'𝗍 𝗌𝗎𝗉𝗉𝗈𝗌𝖾 𝗍𝗈 𝗁𝖺𝗉𝗉𝖾𝗇! Gaster backed up from the tube, as magic in Snowdin increased to insane levels.

*. . . *𝖳𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝗐𝖺𝗌𝗇'𝗍 𝗌𝗎𝗉𝗉𝗈𝗌𝖾 𝗍𝗈 𝗁𝖺𝗉𝗉𝖾𝗇.. 𝗇𝗈, 𝗇𝗈 𝗇𝗈.. Gaster pressed all the buttons near him in desperation to bring Chara's SOUL back or atleast fuse the two pieces together before giving up when he realized what he was doing and stopped, Sans patted Gaster's shoulder before a light had covered both of them.

I woke up from the couch, watching TV of Mettaton who was once doing another cooking show but Papyrus wasn't home. I thought about what I dreamed on, confused. *𝖳𝗁𝗈𝗌𝖾 𝗐𝖾𝗋𝖾𝗇'𝗍 𝗆𝗒 𝗆𝖾𝗆𝗈𝗋𝗂𝖾𝗌, 𝗋𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍? *. . . I questioned, before realizing that I was at my house.

*BROTHER!! WHY DID YOU NOT GO TO YOUR POST!! Papyrus shouted, I lazily grinned after facing my bro. Papyrus seemed angry at me but he was just trying to frighten me a bit, although this was just a normal day. *𝗈𝗄. I gave a thumbs up at Papyrus which only angered him more.

*SANS! IVE REALIZED IT HAS BEEN 2 DAYS SINCE YOU CAME OUT OF THE HOUSE! Papyrus stated, worried for his older brother although he is much more taller than me.

*𝗈𝗄. I nod but still surprised on how many days I had been asleep for and raised my right hand, waving as a habit. Paps had convinced me to go outside after a long hour of talking, he patted my shoulder and had a wide smile.

*CMON BROTHER! WE HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO DO! Papyrus said, running out of the house as his voice faded away. I don't want anything to change yet I feel like this won't last any longer.

What "Sans" didn't notice was a bright figure peaking from their window, the eyes fixed on Sans until he slightly waved at the figure without making eye contact. The bright figure was alert, running away by using a shortcut.
