Chapter eleven

You stood in front of a wooden door with a gold plaque that said laswell on it . Price knocked on the door and Ghost and the others stood up straight with their hands at their sides waiting . You all heard a ' come in ' and Price turned the knob and he headed in first . Ghost and the others followed in behind him along with you and König . König grew nervous and started to fidget with the gear on his vest. You looked up at him and flashed him a small smile and he let out a little sigh and smiled under his mask causing little creases to be shown in his eyes which you knew he was smiling already . You eased him the same way he did for you and you Al stood around a table with laswell .
" I got your message about the drones  near the base captain ."
Laswell spoke while pulling up footage onto a screen in front of you showing a black drone. She zoomed in onto the picture showing you and the others a label that spelled B.T.F.U12 .
" what's that mean ?."
Soap asked curiously.
" That stands for biological testing facility unit 12."
Laswell spoke sternly.
" Something ain't right , we've had no missions and no hostility for a while now . What's all of a sudden causing problems ."
Gaz said, concerned .
" We have something they want , people don't investigate or stalk unless they want something and we have something that they want from us ."
Laswell spoke while zooming out of the picture on the screen .  Gaz and the others gave each other a knowing look and looked down at you to see you petrified . Ghost looked at König and König looked at laswell and then down at his feet. They knew that they were coming for you and they had made a promise to keep you safe but now they weren't sure if they could keep that but König on the other hand had other ideas.
" I'll send soldiers out to scout the perimeter to see if they find anything and you'll relocate to base 190 located in the upper regions of New Mexico . Head back to your original base with caution and meet back here by the pickup near the landing pad ."
She spoke while pointing to a map she had pulled down from the ceiling.
" With all due respect we can't just let other soldiers scurry around that are lower ranking than us , we need people with experience ."
Ghost spoke up .
" Lieutenant, we aren't sending low ranking soldiers, we are sending the kortac to scout out and deal with it ."
Königs head perked up when he heard about the kortac . König has worked with the kortac before and they were like siblings to him almost .
Laswell is a very loyal woman to the government and if she finds out that you're the main reason they're coming she'll give you up in an instant but you weren't gonna let that happen so easily .
" We'll be back in 2 hours ."
Price spoke , while making a small gesture with his head to tell everyone to follow him . You all saluted each other and you walked out of the office panicked . You were internally panicking. You didn't expect them to find you and it's kinda ironic that you've been on your own for four years off the grid and they didn't find you but once you made human interaction all of a sudden they had found you. You let out a little shaky breath and you headed back outside quickly and got into the humvee . König helped you up and you saw between Ghost and König just the same way you had come there . Price took over driving this time and he entered and then he shut the door .
" we have to tell laswell about blaze we can't start trouble ."
Price broke the silence .
" No ."
König spoke up, causing everyone to turn their heads and look at him .
" Are you questioning your captain's order ?."
Price said, looking at König through the rear view mirror. All of Königs anxiety just got thrown out the window . His number one priority right now was you . It's kinda crazy how a bunch of soldiers you barely know took you in and have gotten so attached to you.
" Yes I am , listen we promised her we would keep her safe and protect her so that's what I'm going to do ."
König said sternly .
" König she's gonna find out we can't start another problem ."
Gaz spoke hoping to at least try and convince him but there was no budging .
" No , we're soldiers . We help the ones in need and we do the dirty work to keep this world clean so no I will not let them take y/n ."
König stated , keeping you close to him .
" No child should ever have to suffer from things like this or anything ...he serves a point ......"
Ghost said quietly, trying to support König in this.
Ghost was very fond of you as well and he didn't want to see the only thing he had a care for just leave so easily. You stood there watching as the two men next to you tried to persuade Price .
" piece they serve points ..."
Gaz said also joining in and supporting it .
Price sighed and started up the humvee and you pulled out of the parking lot and you started heading on a dirt path and you left the main base.
Ghost argued with Price about you and everyone's eyes went wide when ghost said this.
" Why do you care so much if she gets taken? "
Price said loudly.
" BECAUSE THIS KID GIVES ME HOPE AND IS LIKE MY OWN CHILD , THE ONE THING I CONSIDER ."
Ghost snapped cursing everyone to shut up . The humvee went silent and the whole rest of the  ride was quiet . They were shocked since Ghost isn't fond of many things . Ghost didn't want you to suffer anymore he wanted to keep you safe , ghost may be seen as an intimidating ruthless soldier but he's really just hurting . You made him feel something he didn't understand, it was almost happiness . Seeing you smile made him happy for some reason and he didn't know why . It was like he declared you as his own . Ghost may have not admitted it but he did see you as his child and König saw you as his own as well. You started to feel drowsy and you leaned your head on Ghost's shoulder and he looked down at you and he felt a sense of calm wash over him .
You couldn't fight off sleep so you just closed your eyes and let the peacefulness wash over you . Ghost wrapped his arm around you to keep you close and soap looked over and faced Ghost with a smirk . Ghost shot  daggers at soap causing  soap to immediately stop and look out the window. You finally arrived at base and everyone unbuckled their seatbelts and they got out of the vehicle. Ghost saw that you were fast asleep and he gently picked you up and he got out of the vehicle and he started to walk into the building . He kept a good hold on you and kept you close huddled into his chest. Price and the others had their things in duffel bags already just in case this happened so they grabbed all their bags and they headed out . They walked past you and Ghost and ghost headed into his room with you and he grabbed his bag carefully and shut the door behind him. The others rushed out and they placed all their things in the humvee along with weapons and they got up and running and they headed off . You slept in Ghost's arms and he watched over you . You had finally made it to the main  base and the others rushed out and headed for the launch pad . They grabbed their things and got out and ghost got out as well and he kept you close . He noticed how noisy it was outside and he took off his headset putting it on your head hoping to block out some of the noise . König saw a helicopter and it said 190 on it and you all rushed over to see Laswell waiting there .
" Alright boys, you're heading off now ."
Laswell spoke while König threw everyone's bags into the chopper .
" don't screw this up and make sure no one fucks around  ."
Laswell said towards price and he nodded his head as a confirmation . Ghost and the others said their goodbyes for now and they headed in the chopper . Ghost sat down with you and strapped you making sure that you wouldn't move around . The chopper door closed and soon the pilot said that they were ready and soon you were off .

A/n - I'm sorry if this wasn't good and seems rushed but I wrote this in school when I had free time and was done with all my work but I hope you liked this chapter.
