Chapter seven

Tw: mentions of scars and abuse

3 weeks passed and you were already up and walking without your crutches . you went to the med bay to get checked out. you were calm when Konig and Ghost were in the room with you . you walked on a limp but for the most part alot of your pain went away . The doctor said that you would have to train in about a week, which was good on Ghost's end and that also meant you could start to run  . you learned a lot with soap and Ghost and even learned to trust 141 . During these 3 weeks the team has grown very fond of you and even Ghost took a liking to you . They all got very attached and they didnt know why but we all know Ghost wouldn't admit that he also cared but it's the little things that Ghost did that showed . such as calming you down when you panicked and talking to you . Ghost even told you his real name which he never tells anyone . you kept his secrets and he trusted you with it . that goes to show how fond Ghost is of you . you got off the couch and you headed down the hallway and you knocked on Konigs door and decided to show him something . it was about 2 in the morning so you decided to tell him when everyone was sleeping , you trusted him enough to tell him about your abilities . you know it's only been 3 weeks but they already felt like family to you . you already got attached to them as well . you walked in front of his door slowly and made a tiny knock . Konig shuffled in his sleep but slowly woke up as he heard the knock again . He groaned and got up , swinging his legs off the edge of his bed and walking to the door . you went to knock again but you were met with the tall masked man .
'' Hi Konig , can i show you something but you can't tell anyone .''
You said .
'' uh sure .''
Konig said tiredly .
He invited you into his room and he sat on the edge of his bed and you stood in front of him and you held out your hand .
'' ive hid this for s while but i wanted to show you ...please don't tell anyone .''
You said as you held out your hand .
'' i won't say anything , you have my word .''
Konig said while waiting for you to show him .
'' look .''
You held out your hand and concentrated and you made a small fire in the middle of your hand and showed him with a smile .
'' i know ghost told you about the facility , i heard you while eating .''
You said with a little frown but  gave him a small smile and showed him .
'' holy shit you can make fire !.''
Konig said excitedly but also a little bit scared .
'' yeah .''
You said happily .
'' Listen, I'm sorry he told us but it's better we know but I wanna protect you , we wanna protect you. We won't let you go back to that place .''
He said , still amazed by the fire in your hand .
'' you wanna keep me safe ?.''
You said you were confused .
'' yeah....well we care about you .''
Konig said sheepishly .
'' i do too ...even though it's only been two weeks .''
You said while putting out the fire with your other hand .
'' i'll let you go to sleep okay ...i'll be in the giant fluffy thing in the rec room .''
You said heading to his door to leave .
'' okay , don't burn anything .''
Konig said, chuckling .
'' i won't .''
You said with a little giggle and left his room, closing the door behind you .
You headed back to the couch and you sat down and wrapped yourself in your blanket and you decided that when everyone was up you would show them your powers . Konig layed down and he was still in shock about what you had shown him before . it all made so much sense to him but it was also pretty obvious , they tested on you and that's how you got your powers . he had originally thought they tested on you to find a cure for an illness but this , this was much greater then he had ever expected . you waited another two hours on the couch waiting for the others to wake up so you could show them your abilities . You heard a door open and the slow footsteps of someone coming and you got up off the couch and you saw Ghost in a black shirt and some beige cargo pants along with the skull mask . you wondered why he wore it but you never asked why but you felt as if it was something bad .
'' oh mornin kid , what's got you up so early ?.''
Ghost asked while walking into the kitchen starting up the coffee machine .
'' i couldn't sleep .''
You lied .
You really just wanted someone to be with you .
You didn't like being alone much but you were used to it , used to being in solitary confinement . Being near someone who you trusted made you feel safe . you didn't tell them and you just lied saying you were okay but you weren't , you didn't sleep because of what had happened when you were in the facility . while you would be at the facility they would take you in the middle of the night for testing and you used to panic ( who wouldn't ) and flail your arms trying to get them off you but they would just hit you . many tiny  scars littered your skin . the abused you for the smallest fuck ups . you didn't like doctors at all and after what you endured you never will like them . Ghost turned to face you and he crossed  his arms and let out a deep sigh .
'' tell me whats ups ?.''
You sighed knowing that you couldn't lie to him . The coffee machine brewed coffee, the smell lingering throughout and filling your nose .  Ghost waited for it to be done but he walked over to you and sat next to you .
'' I don't like being alone when I sleep .....''
You said quietly , messing with the strings of your hood .
You looked at Ghost and saw his eyes soften .
'' How come you didn't tell one of us ? one of us would've stayed with you .
Ghost said softly .
" I didn't want to bother anyone .."
You admitted .
" y/n it's okay , you don't bother us . Shit if anyone bothers us it's soap ."
Ghost said .
" hey i heard that !"
Soap yelled from down the hallway while peeking his head  through the door of his room .
" I need you all to come into this room and stand in a line ."
You said calmly .
" What for ?."
Ghost asked confusedly while he got up and went to pour his coffee . 
" It's important ."
You started while getting up .
A few minutes passed by and 5 very groggy men entered the room and stood  in a line all next to each other . König still wondered about last night with you . at
" What's the matter ?."
Price asked, crossing his arms .
" I've hid this from you guys so please just don't freak out ..."
You said while letting out a deep breath .
You held out your hand and you made a fire and you played around with it . Soaps' mouths went open and the others stood with shocked expressions.
" bloody hell ..."
Ghost said quietly .
" holy shit ..y-you can make fire ."
Soap said, stunned .
" and I know you guys know about me ...Ghost ."
You said .
" but I know why you did it and I'm not mad ."
You said calmly , playing around with the fire .
You accidentally set something on the table near you and Gaz acted quickly and poured water over it .
They all stood quietly and stood with shocked faces .
Gaz said, looking down at you .
" Sorry , but yeah I can make fire with my hands."
You said with a tiny smile .
" holy hell that's bloody amazing ."
Ghost said.
They didn't know what it was all they knew that you were extremely valuable to whoever tested on you .
" We say nothing about this to Laswell ."
Ghost said sternly .
" Why ? ."
Soap questioned.
" for the kids' safety and sake that's why ."
Ghost said again , a bit harsher .
" she told me about it last night."
König said .
Ghost looked up at König and widened his eyes a bit .
"You knew ?."
Ghost said, confused .
" I didn't tell anyone cause she didn't want me to."
König said, respecting your wishes from last night .
" Alright then , today is training day ."
Ghost said sternly , lifting his mask up half way to drink his coffee .
Boy did you have a long day ahead of you .
