The next day, Abby wandered through the halls. Everyone around her chatted animatedly, Abby had her headphones in but no music playing.

Abby heard a conversation that sounded entertaining, she focused her ears on those two voices. She couldn't make out much except for a few words, something about PE and ghosts.

Laughing Abby continued walking, she was on her way to PE but she didn't believe in ghosts. Yes, she believed in spirits but she didn't believe they could come back to haunt places or whatever.

As she walked into the gym, Abby noticed a grown man standing near the front holding a clip board. This, she guessed, was the teacher, he was wearing red sweatpants and a black t-shirt for the high school. His name tag read, "Mr. Scott." He looked in his fifties or sixties.

"Alright," He said, making Abby jump, "I'm going to call names. If you go by something else tell me."

After the first few names, Abby's name was called. She told Mr. Scott the same thing she had told all of her teachers, she went by Abby not Abigail.

"Great," Abby thought while looking around, "looks like all the preps are in my class."

As if to prove her thoughts, they all squealed and began gossiping.

Abby rolled her eyes, it was going to be a long semester.

A few minutes later, they were all sent back to get dressed in their PE clothes.

Abby changed into a giant white t-shirt and short black shorts. She liked wearing big shirts, it made her feel small and she liked that.

Abby found herself on a bench, the locker rooms seemingly empty. Abby heard a bathroom stall door slam and lock.

"Hello?" Abby questioned.

There was no answer.

"It's probably another girl, she didn't hear me." Abby thought shrugging.

She walked out to the gym to join her classmates.
