A Fairytale Dream (Ballad)

Once upon a time
There lived a girl
Who dreamed of her prince charming
But knew not how to twirl.

She had read many fairytales
And a fairytale, she wanted to live
But, didn't know if it was possible
For real life is all about forget and forgive!

A life that needed compromises
A life that was full of twists and turns
When you expected it to give,
It also wanted something in return.

And then a day came,
When a prince came asking out
A bit of twists her life threw
But where's the fun without!

He asked her for a dance
But oh! she had two left feet
Still she held his hand
And they started swaying to the beats.

And surprised she was,
For he could make her dance!
Together, not a beat they missed,
In her life, this was the first chance!

With each move that he made,
Her heart made a flip
This was her fairytale indeed
Her dream relationship!

He came not on a white horse
Nor did he carry a sword
But he completed her in a way
That no one could have thought!

Some fairytales, some dreams, do come true!
