Previous Chapter: Purvi wanted to patch things between ACP and Kavin but kavin didn't like her involment and hurt her. ACP and kavin talk things out about Nakul. Purvi had fever and taking rest at home alone.
Next day around 9am, kavi's house
Purvi was still sleeping due to medicine's effects and finally started to wake up.
Purvi (in mind): kya time ho rha h?
She checked her phone to check the time and was shocked to see that it was already 9am and even if she hurried to get ready now, she won't be able to reach by 10am. She sent a message to Abhijeet and Daya that she will be late by one hour today. Duo asked her to take a day off but Purvi insisted that she was fine now and can come to work, so both said ok to her request.
(CID Bureau, 10am)
Everyone was there in the bureau except Kavin and Purvi. ACP came early and went to his meeting in headquarters. Abhijeet, Daya, Freddie, Dushyant, Nikhil, Pankaj, Ishita were working on old case files. Just then Kavin entered the office and greeted everyone.
Kavin : Good morning everyone
All: Good morning kavin/sir
Pankaj: Kavin sir, ab purvi ki tabiyat kaisi h
Kavin got confused as he did not know about Purvi.
Kavin: Purvi?....woh purvi
Abhijeet: arre pankaj woh purvi ne mujhe or daya ko abhi inform kiya, ki woh thoda late ho jayegi..
Daya: ha, tb tk joh purvi k sath file complete krni h uss pr kaam start kr do.. Aaj jyada pareshan mat karna usse.. Arre... yeh purvi bhi na..... waise kavin.
Kavin: ji ..ji sir
Daya: arre purvi ko samjhana tha na, ki aaj day-off le le
Abhijeet: ha kl usse kitna tej bukhar tha. Waise ab uska bukhar thik h na kavin?
Kavin: ji....ji abhi thik h
Daya/Abhijeet: thank god
Pankaj: sir, main soch raha tha ki agr aaj emergency case nhi aaye , toh hum sb purvi k saath dinner pr chale ?
Freddie: Pankaj pagal h kya, purvi ko pehle ache se thik ho jane de fer plan karenge na
Dushyant: aap bilkul thik keh rhe h freddie ji, pehle purvi ko office aane dete h phir uski tabiyat dekhke decide krte h
All (except Kavin): ok
Kavin was worried about Purvi, so he got out of everyone's sight and called Purvi. But Purvi's phone was busy as she was talking to someone else. Kavin then messaged purvi.
Kavin (text): abhi tabiyat kaisi h?
They all got busy with work and there was no new case yet. It was already around 12pm and Purvi was still not there, and there was no reply to kavin's text too.
(At Kavi's home)
Purvi (on call) : Tera mission ksa chl rha h, Vikram ?
Vikram: thik thak chl raha hai yaar, pr bilkul time he nhi mil pata tujhe call karne ka bhi
Purvi: koi nahi yaar,...
Vikram: waise Pari, teri tabiyat khraab h kya... Teri awaz se..
Purvi: arre kuch nhi bss kl thoda sa fever tha, ab thik h
Vikram: Pakka na......
Purvi; ha.. Kl medicine lene se ab aaram h
Vikram: ha. Or waise bhi Kavin h he wha tera dhyan rakhne k liye
Purvi: ..........
Vikram: Purvi?? Purvi?? Tu sun rahi hai
Purvi: sorry yr, ab mujhe bureau jana h, baad me weekend pr call krti hu
Vikram: thik h chl.. Or tere or kavin ki love story k update deti rehna
Purvi: ha ha .. rkh ab phone
Vikram: Ok, bye take care Pari
Purvi: thanks, tu bhi dhyaan se case krna
Vikram: Ok ma'am ,.. Bye bye
Purvi: bye
Purvi was still not feeling well enough to go to work, and she noticed her message box and found messages from Kavin and Daya. She still didn't want to face Kavin after his outburst yesterday. Purvi did not replied to Kavin and called Daya

Everyone was still working in the bureau, and Daya got a call.
Daya: Arre Purvi ka call.. (after picking the call) ha bolo Purvi.. Ab tabiyat kaisi h
Everyone gathered around Daya.
Purvi: Sorry sir, mujhe nahi lagta main aaj bureau aa paungi...
Daya: ha koi nhi tum off le lo... or aaram karo... agar kisi cheez ki zaroorat ho toh bata dena.. Main kavin ko bhej dunga
Purvi: uski jrurut nhi h sir, main thik hu ...
Daya: thik hai chalo bye (cut the call)
Abhijeet: kya kha Purvi ne?
Daya: Boss woh aaj off le rhi h
Abhijeet: chalo thik h ... waise kavin
Kavin: ji sir
Abhijeet: agr aaj koi new case nhi aaye toh tum bhi jaldi ghr chle jana
(Phone rings)
Shreya: yes, CID Bureau
Man: ma'am yha pr khoon ho gya h
Shreya: okay, aap kaha se bol rhe h ....ok...ok... hum abhi aate h
Abhijeet: kya hua Shreya
Shreya: sir new case h
Daya: okay, chlo sbhi
Kavin (in mind): Purvi ne mere message ka reply nhi diya or Daya sir ko call kiya... lgta h ab iss case ko finish krne k baad Purvi ko sorry bol kar manana he hoga..
Everyone went to solve the case and Purvi stayed at home and cooked congee to take medicine.
