"Lee whatchu wanna eat for dinner?" I said taking some pads and tampons from the shelve in the aisle before the snack aisle

"I dont know but can I take these" she said pointing at the big packet of chocolate pretzel sticks which read $4.34 on the price shelve when the fuck did they raise the price on these I thought to myself

She took them I went to the fridge looking for drinks taking out a bottle of pineapple juice since I know she likes it

We bought some empanadas and some almond joys ,hot Cheetos some pads and tampons plus a few other snacks for Lee to take to school tomorrow the total amounted to $17.17 I held the bag since I felt like it wouldn't be fair to make Lee carry anything

We walked outside and the boys were literally standing in the way so I tried to squeeze through them with Lee's hand in mine

I said moving through the boys who smelt like weed as one of em said while the other followed after him

"Yea she- yeah we had the leftover from yesterday and I made empanadas". I said cutting her off before she could mention I had money and took her to buy some things at the deli.

"Okay is there some leftover food for us?"

"Us ?" I questioned looking at my mom

"Me and Dan" she said in a obvious tone

Like I'm supposed to provide food for her boyfriend

"No leftovers we just ate em all"

"Mtnch" she said looking at me in a disgusted way

"I'm going to be staying at Dee's house for tonight"

"And who's gonna watch Lee"

"She's your child too mom you can watch her "

"Watch your mouth and I'm your mom too so you're watching her cause I gotta go somewhere"

I mumbled walking up the stairs 'im your mom too'

"Whatchu said ?! " She yelled

"I said I'll go with her !" I yelled from the bathroom taking off my clothes

And hopping in the shower as the cold water hit me I waited for the warm water just thinking about my siblings and where they would be without me taking care of em

"Why the fuck have kids if you're not gonna support or love them" I spoke to myself

I took a quick shower and shaved and then lotion my body looking in the bathroom cabinets for the blow dryer
