"You sure you're warm enough?" I said looking at my sister not wearing anything on her head
"Yes I'm okay"
"No put on a beanie baby it's cold" u said looking through her drawer for a beanie
"No my hair!"
"Okay be cold then "
We walked down the stairs to the hallway as they creaked like crazy honestly I can't stand these creaky stairs or this apartment building
Leaving out the house walking towards the elevator which always takes forever to get anywhere
Once it opened we got in and I used a coin I had to press the floor we wanted to get to
"When is Chloe coming back?"
"I think on Friday because mom said Seven and Sekani coming Friday I'm not sure yet "
"I miss her "
"Yeah me too I found a job so we'll be okay". I smiled trying to cheer her up
The elevator finally dinged open we got off and I held Lenora's hand as we walked out the building to the deli , we walked hand in hand a few blocks down the street
Outside the deli/corner store as always there are always people smoking weed, talking, drinking alcohol,others shooting dice in this cold weather they all wore the same type of clothes from Jeans to Nike Techs and hoodies others with puffer coats and ski masks and black forces
Before we crossed the street across the deli three of them walked in the deli/store rubbing their hands together to warm up , I just hoped nothing weird happens while I'm here with my 9 year old sister all my siblings had their different dads and after me came the twins Seven & Sekani, Lee and Chloe me being the oldest and most hated of all my mom's kids
"These boys are always here " she stated
" don't mind them they fuckin hood "
We got in the deli my sister letting go of my hand immediately
"Get some snacks " I yelled watching her ran away in excitement
"MMM now I don't know what she wanna eat ". I mumbled to myself realising I never asked Lee what she wanted to eat for dinner
I walked around towards Lee and bumped into the lightskin boy who randomly showed up infront of me
"Move!Bitch" He said clearly annoyed
