Aneesh (shocked): Kai... kaise?!
Then Bala narrated all the events that took place all day and now Karan was fine. Aneesh controlled his emotions somehow and went to his room. He again started behaving like a psychopath.
Aneesh: Aaaaaaaaaaaa!! Nahi yeh nahi ho sakta! Yeh plan kaise fail ho gaya? Karan mara kaise nahi? Mai phir se haar gaya? Nahi aise toh peeche nahi jaunga
Hospital:
On one end where Aneesh was going mad, Monami was struggling hard to feed Karan the "beswaad" soup of the hospital. Adding to her problems, no one in the family was ready to help her. Because of the medicines Karan was having mood swings and the saline on his hand was irritating him further. And he almost burst out on the ward boy when he bought a broccoli and capsicum soup!
Monami (lovingly with puppy eyes): Karan, soup pee lo please
Karan: Ghaas poos ko liquid bana diya hai. Soup toh nahi lag raha yeh. Aur yeh kya hara - hara hai?
Monami: Arey but tum toh salad khaate ho na. Mere jaise nakhre kyu dikha rahe ho?
Karan: Salad mai aur bhi cheezain hoti hai. Aur isme toh sirf "broccoli and capsicum" hai. Ekdum beswaad hai yeh. Taste toh chhodo namak tak nahi hai
Monami: Agar tum yeh peeoge toh tumhari swelling aur allegy marks kam hogi
Karan: Mai nahi peeyunga. Iske baad bori bharke dawai bhi dogi tum
Monami: But yeh tumhare betterment ke liye hai na. Please pee lo
Karan (whining like a child): Nahi nahi nahi! Nahi peeyunga bilkul bhi
Monami (keeping the soup bowl aside): Theek hai mat peyo. Tum jitna oppose karoge, utne zyada din hospital mai rehna padega
Karan made a sad pout hearing her and started thinking about what to do. Monami smiled seeing his expression. He looked just like a baby right now. She wanted to kiss him but controlled herself. She knew that if she showed even a tad bit of leniency, he'd get out of control.
Monami: Tum soch ke bata do, tabtak mai Papa ko inform kar deti hu
She turned back to go out of the ward when she felt a tug on her hand. She smiled at her victory but then put on a straight face and turned back.
Monami: Kya hua?
Karan: Kitne din peena padega yeh soup?
Monami: Only 2 days
Karan: Same peena padega kya?
Monami: Nahi. Breakfast mai corn soup, lunch mai broccoli and capsicum soup and dinner mai beetroot, carrot and tomato soup
Karan: Theek hai. 2 days tak manage kar lunga
Monami: Pakka?
Karan glared at her and she kept mum. Then she fed him with the soup and medicine by a lot of difficulty with his tantrums being at their peak. They talked for a while and then Faizi, Sid, Sanju, Koel and Param went back to the academy. Suhana was sitting with Karan while caressing his hair as Monami went to have her lunch. Soon Karan fell asleep on his mother's lap and Monami came back from the hospital canteen.
Suhana shifted Karan's head back to the pillow and she came out with Monami where rest of the family was waiting for them.
Monami: Aap sab ghar jaake thoda rest kar lijiye. Lunch karke dawai ka time bhi ho raha hai
Juhi: But beta hum tujhe akele chhod ke kaise jaa sakte hai?
Suhana: Aur tu iss ladke ko akele sambhalegi?
Monami: Mai sambhal lungi
Deepak: Arey...
Monami (cutting him and walking back to the ward): Mujhe pata hai ki aap log mujhe yahan akele nahi chhodoge. Iske liye aap log ghar jaake lunch karenge, dawai lenge aur rest karenge. Uske baad aap sabko yahan raat ko aane ki permission hai. And no more discussion. Over and out
Sooraj: Mrs. Ulti Khopdi in the house
Suhana: Yeh 'in the house' kya hota hai?
Juhi: Ha hum ghar mai nahi, hospital mai hai bhaisahab
Deepak: No offence ladies, but y'all are getting old
Juhi: Old? Accha ji? Aapko yeh "y'all aur in the house" ka matlab pata hai?
Sooraj: Nahi. Woh toh Baby aur Nikhil aise baat kar rahe the toh maine sunn liye
Deepak: Aur inhone mujhe sikha diya
Suhana: Ab chalain? Nahi toh Monami ne dekh liya na toh Ragda Parade karwa degi
They laughed a little and went from the hospital, towards the Shergill Mansion.
(Sooraj and Suhana live in Mumbai as after retirement he continued their family business. They have a Mansion in Deolali because Sooraj served there for many years. Karan and Param were trained in Parakram SAF as well and they continued to be here)
