The Colonel was one of the few that stayed back but he must have heard the commotion, as he came walking over. Warren looked like he was having a hard time with the older girl as she was saying things in Na'vi trying to calm the younger girl down. "Shut up. Don't move." The girl still struggled as the Colonel took a good look around. "What have we here?" He walked slow and calm as the Na'vi struggled and wiggled in the arms of your comrades. The girl resisted more as Lyle came up to her, he must have found something odd.
"Colonel. Check it out, four fingers." Your ears twitched. They had to be half-breeds. They were why you were here, to find them so quickly... "We got a half-breed." Lyle was smiling about finding one so fast but you kept to the side. Still clutching onto your gun, something felt off and you didn't like it. The girl kept struggling and you didn't know if you should still look or not. The Colonel gave her a small look before turning to the other one. You let a small breath escape your lips. "Show me your fingers." He pointed to the male Na'vi and he showed him his fingers. He showed him by flipping him off with both hands. You smiled a bit finding it funny. "Heh, your his aren't you." He gave the Colonel a good hiss and didn't respond to him. "Oh your his alright." The Colonel was smiling, for what you didn't know and honestly didn't want to find out.
The Colonel's smile quickly dissipated as he grabbed the male by his hair bringing him up. This brought the others back into disarray. All squirming again and saying things in a panic. The male still struggled in the Colonel's grip for a bit when the Colonel spoke again. "Where is he?" Not answering however the Colonel gave his hair a small yank. He then spoke again. "Sorry, I don't speak English..." He was talking in Na'vi but you could understand perfectly. "With idiots." What caught you off guard was the Colonel then speaking in the same tongue, "Where is your father?" The Colonel yanked his hair again harder this time and he gave a loud groan sending the rest into panic again.
He then gave a strained hiss and you had to look away, you couldn't look. "Really, you wanna play it this way?" The sound of metal scraping along something startled you, you knew it was coming but you didn't want to see or hear it. You instead started to focus on the younger girl again but it was hard to even look at the desperate and scared girl. Although your attention was brought back quickly after hearing a voice yell across the panic. "Hey! Hey, Don't touch her!" It was the human boy from before. He was struggling hard with two Avatars holding him back. It appeared as though you weren't the only one he had caught the attention of. The Colonel was now walking over to him with curiosity. However, the boy was still not complying. You didn't think anyone in this group would at this point.
"What's your name kid?" Your ears perked a bit and your tail moved sharper at this question. Why ask him? "Spider." The boy seemed to calm down slightly before answering him fully. "Socorro." You had never seen the Colonel so bewildered before. It was odd to you, it was unfamiliar and it made you feel uncomfortable. He soon ushers the two holding the man to let him go as he crouches down to his eye level. "Miles?" You still had no idea what was going on but you figured something very odd was happening. "Nobody calls me that." The man seemed displeased and truly as if he hadn't heard that name in a long time. "Well, I'll be damned. I figured they'd sent you back to Earth." It finally clicked, the weird atmosphere was picking up and you now didn't know if this was a conversation for your ears. "They can't put babies in cryo dipshit." It was a very harsh and small impactful statement. It definitely showed he had daddy issues. As you would know.
You were still focused on the boy and his statement when you heard the Colonel calling in. "Stay alive, were bring in high valuable prisoners." They all were still wrestling to no avail as they brought them back to the camper. Shoving them to the ground again you stayed further away from the group this time and still away from the AMP Suit. "Lyle, get me some audio on this." The Colonel was holding up the video feed from the suit, this you weren't going to stay and listen to. You could clearly guess what had happened you didn't need to see it. You walked over towards the end near the hostages, there was the male Na'vi being held down. "Here I've got him." You offered to take him instead and Prager seemed reluctant to let you but in the end, gave in. You didn't hold him as harshly and didn't grab him by his braid, you yourself learned the hard way how painful it was to get it yanked.
"Sorry about this." You spoke Na'vi for the first time and hoped you didn't mispronounce anything. Not like he was going to tell you as he just squirmed under your hands. You knew he wouldn't believe you but you said it anyway, you just wanted to take your mind off the audio you could hear coming from the video feed. "What is your name?" Still trying to get him to talk to you and offered some small chat. Again he wouldn't budge. "My name is (Y/N)." There was a small pause, he wasn't even going to look at you. You let out a long sigh, the sun was leaving you and you wanted some comfort. And currently, you didn't want any from the Recom team, all you knew was that you would go insane if everyone was quiet and you had to listen to the sounds of Pandora again. "Fine, I can just give you back to Prager." You lightly pulled him towards where Prager was standing and he gave in. "Lo'ak." The sun was leaving faster now. "Is that your name?" He nodded and gave you a small look. You smiled at him before speaking again. "That's a nice name." He just grunted and kept resisting your hold on him.
"What do you care?" His ears were pointed down and it didn't look as if he wanted to have any friendly conversation. "I feel bad." He scoffed at you and tried turning to look into your eyes. "If you felt bad you'd help us." He was right, you may have felt bad but you weren't helping in any way. "I can't... the Colonel would kill me." You looked at him as he was no longer squirming in your hold. "I'm sorry, really but I don't know if I can help." Your voice faltered as the male went silent. He just looked at the others in frustration. You didn't know why you felt this way but it felt right to try and help them. The idea felt like the best one you'd had since you awoke. Maybe it was due to the girl in the second video. Trying to remember her again her voice rang through your head. "Listen to the Eywa, listen to the people." You muttered the line under your breath when an unsetting sound caught your attention.
The Colonel had it in his hands, at least what was left of it now. You felt disgusted as you saw the parts of the skull fall down. You almost could've thrown up. You had heard it once and you knew you never wanted to hear that sound again. Your grip on the male must've tightened too much as he spoke up again. "Heh, are you scared?" He said it to get a rise out of you, you knew he wanted to unsettle you but you gave in anyway. "N-no!" You stuttered and it gave you completely away. You scolded yourself as the male had a small smile on his face knowing he'd shaken you up a bit.
