"𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐈𝐒 𝐒𝐎 𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐏." amara covered her mouth, resisting the urge to throw up. she stared at the lifeless bodies, which had just finished seizing. her eyes were haunted by the sight, but her body urged her to remain staring at the horrific scene in-front. "we won and they died."

yuki glanced at her friend with concern. the guilt was eating amara up. "this is not our fault." the blond comforted, putting her hand above amara's shoulder. "let's go, we have to worry about ourselves."

the brunette heard yuki's footsteps departing, signaling to follow. amara gulped taking one final glance towards the dead business man. "yuki's right, i have to worry about myself." the terrified female mumbled to herself, taking a deep breath before finally leaving.

that was their truth, now living in this kill or be killed world. only the strongest, emotionally and mentally will make it, and the duo was planning to survive.

"we still have to figure out the importance of our visas." yuki sternly reminded, as they walked through the once busy, but now empty streets of tokyo. the brunette could only snort in response, causing the blond to raise an eyebrow. "what's funny amara?"

"you speak so," the brunette began, holding a deep in thought expression. "formally." yuki shook her head, internally pinching her nose-bridge.

"you never take anything serious."

amara abruptly halted her movement, causing yuki to stop a couple steps in-front of her confusedly. "if we stay so serious in this fucked up world, we are never going to be able to go back to ourselves."

yuki was somewhat stunned, she never could comprehend her roommate saying something so serious. or anything that actually made sense.

"ew it got serious again." amara complained with a grimace, beginning to walk once again "come on, we still have to figure out those visas." yuki held a dumfounded expression, nonetheless she continued walking. "we should just ask someone."

"i don't know if you noticed, but we haven't seen anyone in the past hour we have been walking." the blond almost mocked, holding up her arm to exaggerate her claim. "and plus, we shouldn't trust anyone."

amara rolled her eyes in response. "well i think someone is going to pop up soon." the brunette smirked, completely ignoring her roommate's last statement. as if it was on cue, a female wearing some type of fitness wear jogged by the street the duo had been walking on.

"you lucky bitch." yuki playfully mumbled, holding an almost relieved smile. "we still don't know if we can trust her."

"i don't know, she seems trustable." amara, ignoring her friend's protest, caught up with the for some reason exercising girl. "hey!" the brunette greeted, causing the unknown female to furrow her eyebrows and back up at the sudden greeting. "you don't have to be rude." amara almost glared, but was stopped by yuki who butted in the conversation.

"sorry for her, we just want to know what visas are." the blond explained, a bit more comforting than the brunette. the unknown female looked as which she was questioning to give up the meaning or not, causing amara to sigh annoyingly, growing more and more impatient.

the short-haired girl parted her lips slightly, ignoring the glare in which she had been receiving. "they're the number of days you have left before they kill you." the female muttered, quickly jogging away.
