The brothers invited Max and I to a sleepover at their house, since their Elder Kettle would be out for a few days.

As Max and I were on our way to the house, we had a small talk.

"You know, Mugman might not seem so bad after all." Max blurted out.

I smirked, "Finally getting used to him?"

"Possibly, I might've misjudged him." Max shrugged.

"So.... does this mean?"

"Yes... I'll stop fighting with him. I can't promise it though."

My eyes sparkled, "YES!"

"I was just scared he was gonna take you away from me, you know how long we've been best friends. I wouldn't want to lose you."

I chuckled as softly elbowed his arm, "You'll never lose me, Maxi. We're best friends! Best! Friends! Which means we'll never leave each other."

Max smiled, "Yeah! You're right!"

I gave a reassuring smile.

"Hey... I'll race you to the front door!" Max said.

"WAY AHEAD OF YA!" I smirked and started running.

"HEY!!" Max ran after me as I made it to the front door.

"Winner!" I said.

"Tch- You didn't even say go!" Max pouted.

"Don't be a sore loser, Maxi!"

Max rolled his eyes and chuckled.

I knocked on the door, "Hey! Mugsy! Cups! It's us, Max and Y/n!"

The door was instantly flung opened as Mugman jumped on me, "Y/n!"

I laughed, "Hiya, Mugsy."

Cuphead and Max dapped each other up, I'm guessing Max taught Cuphead that.

Mugman kissed my cheek as I held him close.

Max had an angry look, but he calmed himself, "What is... this?"

Mugman softly laughed as he sheepishly smiled, "Well... Y/n and I are together!"

Cuphead squealed, "YES!! I KNEW IT!!"

Max took a deep breath, "Touch Y/n, hurt them, make them uncomfortable, or in any way you don't please them, I. Will. End. You. Mugman."

Mugman awkwardly smiled as he stood there, "Y-Yep-"

Max softly smiled, "But I'm happy for your relationship. Y/n if you replace me though I swear-"

I laughed, "You'll still be my best bud!"

Max sighed in relief, "Good."

"Now! Let's get inside!" Cuphead ran inside as we all followed him.

"Ohhhh.... It smells so nice in here!" Max smiled.

"Elder Kettle just made cookies, but hid the cookie jar..."

I smirked, "You mean THIS cookie jar?"

I held up a jar which was labeled 'Cookies' and had some cookies painted on it.

"WHAT!?" Mugman gasped.

"EEEE, NO WAY! YES!!" Cuphead cheered.

"I knew you could do it." Max said, chuckling while being unfazed.

"Anyway, catch!" I boomeranged Cuphead a cookie, which was caught in his mouth instead of his hands.

I threw Max one, and he caught it.

I threw Mugman one, and he caught it and started eating it.

I took one and placed the jar back, closing the lid. I ate my cookie and joined back with the others.

"Ohhh- burd' games!" Cuphead said while still eating his cookie.

"Cups, don't speak with your mouth full...." Max gagged.

"Got if't!" Cuphead smiled.

Max chuckled as he continued eating his cookie.

I laughed as I brought out a board game, "Who wants to play Monopoly?"

Mugman's eyes sparkled, "ME!!"

"I DO!!" Cuphead ran up to me as Mugman followed.

"COUNT ME IN!!" Max grinned as we all gathered around in the center of the floor.

Max was the T-Rex, Mugman was the duck, Cuphead was the car, and I was the penguin.

As the game started, we all were getting competitive.

I smirked, "Pay up, Cuphead!"

"Dang it!" He grabbed some of his cash and gave it to me.

I chuckled as it was my turn to roll. As I landed on my spot, I groaned.

"Pay up!" Mugman snickered.

"Seriously!?" I handed him some cash as we continued playing.

"Hand it over!" Max said as Mugman landed on his property.

"Oh, come on!" Mugman grabbed some cash from his GIANT stack.

I'm not kidding, it looked like he had the whole bank!

"My turn!" Cuphead rolled the dice and continued his turn.

I grabbed the dice and rolled it, I landed on Cuphead's property and groaned.

"Hehehe- PAY UP!" Cuphead snickered as he started laughing.

"AUGHHHH!!" I grabbed some money and gave it to him.

As the game continued, everyone went bankrupt, and Mugman won.

"And that's how ya do it!" Mugman winked at Cuphead as he slumped down.

"Oh come on, Cuphead! Don't be so sad, you got in third place! Unlike... *cough* Y/n-" Max looked at me and then looked away.

"Ha, ha, very funny, Max!" I shook my head as I softly chuckled.

"We should head to bed, it's getting pretty late." I suggested.

"Alright!" Mugman smiled as he took my hand.

We both ran up the stairs as the boys followed.

"Y/n's sleeping with me!" Mugman smirked as we went up to his top bunk.

"Fine by me." Max shrugged.

"Max, you have a sleeping bag, right?" Cuphead asked.

"Yep!" Max smiled as he extended his sleeping bag.

I yawned as Mugman wrapped his arms around me. We both cuddled as we drifted to sleep.

Morning

I woke up and scratched my cheek, Mugman yawned as he rubbed his eyes.

"Good Morning, Mugsy." I kissed his cheek.

"Morning, Y/n." He hummed as he kissed my forehead.

We both got down from his bunk, but suddenly gasped.

Cuphead...

AND MAX!?

HUGGING EACH OTHER WHILE SLEEPING ON THE OUTSIDE CORNER OF THE KIDS!?

WHAT!?

Cuphead was on top of Max's lap as Max had his arms wrapped around Cuphead's waist.

"MUGSY! MUGSY! GET THE CAMERA!" I whispered shouted.

"HERE! HERE!" Mugman whispered back as I snatched the camera and took a photo.

We both squealed as we gave each other a high-five.

"Oh just wait until they wake up!" Mugman grinned.

We both snickered as we headed out of their room.
