Chapter 6 - Day 6

Start from the beginning

Though the room is fairly spacious, not many people chose to attend the session. There's only three other people aside from Zayn and himself, so it's nice and quiet. Peaceful.

The music calms his senses, the poses releasing any tension he's holding, which, given the events of the past week, is a hell of a lot. He lets himself be consumed by it, letting all of his thoughts and stresses drop away momentarily.

"This is so good," Zayn whispers to Harry when there's a small break, stretching out the vowels in his words as he speaks.

Harry smiles, "I feel like I'm in heaven."

He could do this for eternity, but he'd probably end up falling asleep after a while. In this moment, it's just him and his calm mind. He just focuses on the music, letting all of his thoughts slip away and fall into the melody encircling the otherwise quiet room.

He doesn't want the session to end, but eventually it comes to a close and Harry and Zayn roll up their mats, placing them in a large round tub where the rest of them belong. They walk back to their dorm block together, chatting casually about the session and their day today.

It's weird to think about how different everyone's experiences have been. Zayn's sounds so fun and relaxed in all the right places. His biggest concern has been what he'll be having for dinner.

They say goodbye once they reach their doors and as soon as Harry's back in his dorm, he's pulling his shirt off, ready for a warm shower to relax his aching body and to prepare for the party tonight. The staff have organised it for everyone and kept it a surprise until lunchtime today. It's all everyone has been talking about since, planning outfits in the corridor and wondering which snacks and drinks will be there.

Both he and Louis get ready in their dorm but, naturally, Louis doesn't want to be seen going in with Harry, so he delays getting ready. Harry supposes it doesn't really matter because there's no time restrictions, it's not like he's making himself late, so he heads out. It's probably better to give them both some space away from each other.

Louis' glance as Harry leaves lasts a little longer than feels normal, but he doesn't think much of it. He's not going to pretend he doesn't look good right now.

"Harry!" Zayn cheers, turning around from just a bit further down the hall. "You coming to the party?"

"Obviously," Harry smiles. "You look great mate!"

"Oh, you little flirt," Zayn says, playfully swiping a hand through the air, "Not looking too bad yourself," He smirks, and Harry playfully nudges his side as he catches up to him.

They can hear the music booming before they even reach the doors, but as Harry puts a hand up to the door, Zayn pulls him aside.

"Before we go in, I want you to remember one thing."

"And that would be?"

Zayn leans in, beckoning Harry closer. Harry moves his head aside for Zayn to whisper in his ear.

"Love you," He says, quickly kissing him on the cheek before pulling away.

"Urgh," Harry groans, immediately wiping the kiss straight off. "You're ridiculous," He laughs, pulling the door open. The music hits them in a large wave of sound and smiley chatter surrounds them as they head further in. People are dancing and singing and Harry can't wait to be a part of it.

Bunting is draped around the edges of the ceiling and the overhead lights are turned off to highlight the large glitter ball hanging from the centre of the ceiling, shimmering and sparkling above the crowd. Mulicoloured lights shine, flashing against each and every wall and tile on the floor.
