Chapter 3 - If you hex someone that is good..

Start from the beginning

"Golden Trio?" I ask. Draco nods slowly, seeing my face. "to find the Trio made of gold.." I whisper the line of the prophecy slowly and quietly. I groan and put my head in my hands.

"What? Did you get another prophecy?" Draco asks. I nod glumly. "Well let me hear it, I may be able to decipher it." I clear my throat theatrically.

"The Ghost King travels alone,

To a Magic School, far from home.

To find a Trio made of gold.

The Sun and Sea will come when foretold.

And help stop the Dark Lords closing hold."

Draco chuckles and flexes his fingers. "This one is pretty clear really, once you know both sides."

"Well?" I respond impatiently.

"Well the first two lines have already happened." He says. "The trio made of gold, that is Pottah, Weasley, and Granger." I nod. "I dunno about the fourth line, but the last line says you help those idiots stop Voldemort. The Dark Lord is his nickname." He scoffs. "Of course you have to help those idiots, they have a mud-blood with them."

Annoyingly, the sliding doors open to the trio. I sigh. "The other cars are full." Hermione explains. I nod and they shuffle in. They sit opposite to me.

"So.. What is your blood?" I say, trying to make conversation. Ron scowls and glares at me.

"Weasley is pure, Pottah is half-blood, and you know about Granger." Draco explains to me, pointing at each one. They scowl. I furrow my brows and turn to Draco.

"Does being a mud-blood mean you're less powerful than being pure-blooded?" I ask. Ron looks disgusted and Harry looks almost enraged. Draco pauses for a moment.

"Not necessarily, but it means that your parents aren't Wizards." Draco explains. I nod a few times.

"So?" I say. The trio blinks at me in unison, and Draco looks confused. "If they both have the same abilities to be strong, why does it matter?" Hermione smiles slightly. Draco opens his mouth and closes it a few times before trying again.

"Because they have no experience." He says, but his tone makes it sound like a question.

"If a mud-blood and pure-blood got in a fight, who would win?" I press. Draco blinks.

"The pure-blood, obviously." He states.

"What if they didn't have wands?" I question. He looks stumped. I patted his shoulder. "This is why I didn't want you to leave, you have become stupider. And I didn't think that was possible!" I laughed. Draco fakes hurt. Hermione cracks a grin and Ron fails to cover a laugh.

"But anyway, tell me more about Hogwarts." I say to them all.

"Well, I already told you about the houses: Slytherin, Griffindoor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw." Draco starts. "The headmaster is Albus Dumbledore, although he isn't the greatest."

"Dumbledore is amazing!" Harry interrupts. Draco rolls his eyes.

"Yeah whatever. Anyway, I don't know how they are going to sort you since you are not a first year, but the great hall is where meals and announcements happen." Draco continues. "And there is this thing called Quidditch that I really enjoy. Although, you have to fly on broomsticks so I have to.. you know." He makes a weird gesture that I take as him praying to the gods.

Something I notice when I am talking to Draco is that his British accent seems to slowly disappear. It seems Hermione notices as well.

"Malfoy, where is your accent?" She asks. The other two seem to realize when she asks. Draco blinks for a second.
