Chapter Two

Izzy gives her hasn't to Simon to kiss byt he shakes it.

"Lewis. Simon, Simon Lewis. Two first names. Am I still talking?"says nervously Simon "See, best friend safe and sound here"says Jace "Jace, if anything happens to him..."says Clary "Go on. I'll be fine. I think"assures Simon "Where are we going?asks Clary "Training room. Hey, don't eat the food. Dangerous"says Jace the latter to Simon

They enter the training room. Piper is standing close to the entrance wanting to hear what they say but don't want to be inside. Once Hodge is done training with a girl, Jace and Clary go closer to Hodge.

"Jocelyn?"asks Hodge once he sees Clary

Hearing that Piper listens more carefully.

"Uh, I'm Clary. Jocelyn Fray is my mother"says Clary "Well, she was Jocelyn Fairchild when I knew her. And she was one of my best friends"

Piper freezes. She can't believe that she has a sister. She knew that Clary look familiar(she only saw few photos of Jocelyn when she was younger) but never would she thought that she was her sister. She decides to stop eavesdropping and goes to her room.

In Piper's room

Piper is pacing.

Piper's thoughts "I can't believe that my mom left me but had another child! Was she pregnant when she left or she found someone else later? Ugh! I don't know what to think"

She falls onto her bed and groans.

In Izzy's room

Clary and Izzy stand in front of a mirror.

"This is the least revealing thing you have?"asks Clary "What? All the naughty bits are covered. A little to mush for me"answers Izzy "Why can't I just borrow something from Piper. She wears clothes more my style"says Clary "because she doesn't like to share clothes"says Izzy

Both girls walk away from the mirror. Izzy lays down on her bed and Clary leans on a pilar.

"So, uh, you, Late,Piper and Jace are like family?"asks Clary "Translation, you want to know if Jace and Piper are like a thing"says Izzy "Why would I care?" "Because you do. Don't worry. Even though they aren't related by blood in every way that are like brother and sister. Our parents took Jace in when he was ten and Piper when she was few months old. We all trained together. Learned to fight side by side"answers Izzy "A few days ago, all I had to worry about was getting into art school. And now..."trails off Clary "Is this where I give you the pep talk about harnessing your inner Shadowhunter?"asks Izzy "Was that the talk?" "Basically. Clary, remember, you were born to do this. No matter what this is who you are"says Izzy "Not exactly feeling that" "Yet"adds Izzy

In the training room

Simon and Clary were talking. Izzy looks at the weapons.

"No, Izzy"says Jace slapping her hand away "Fifty bucks says he doesn't approve this mission"says Izzy "I don't approve of this mission. I spoke with the Clave. They're sending Selfie scouts to search for Valentine, but they made it clear, the little girl does not leave the premises"says Alec "Hey, my name's not 'little girl', okey? I don't care what that Clave thing or you want, I'm going to find Dot"argues Clary "Alec, this warlock could have the answers we need. With Valentine's people out there searching for Clary, she's not safe outside alone" "Jace has a point"agrees Izzy "Etc tu, Izzy?Where is Piper? She would agree sith me"asks Alec "I don't know last I saw her was when me and Clary were going to talk with Hodge"answers Jace "Ok. I'll look for her later. Now, since you have all the answers, where do you suggest we search?"says Alec directing the guest ion towards Clary "We should start at Dot's apartment and there's this store..."says Clary
