The next day Belly woke up super early, considering the fact that she barely slept at all, after knowing, that this monster,  another creature, is here, came back, which means that now everyone's life is in danger, everyone she cares about is at risk 

After she was done with the joint in her hand she got up from her bed and walked down, she went inside the kitchen to get a drink when she saw a post it note attached to the fridge, which read 

'On a trip for work, will be gone for some time, take care of yourself. 
Martin' 

She sighed putting the note down as she heard a weird voice coming from the backyard, upon investigation she found nothing, it was weird, very weird, her dad suddenly leaving again, the weird voice in the backyard, but she was too high to care

"So we got uh good news and bad news, how do you prefer it?" Dustin asked Eddie

"Bad news first always" Eddie answered before stuffing his mouth again by the snacks they brought for him 

"Okay, bad news, we tapped into the Hawkins PD with our cerebro and they're definitely looking for you" Dustin explained "Also they're uh, pretty convinced that you killed Chrissy" 

"Like a hundred percent kind of convinced" Max spoke from beside Belly they weren't too close to each other but enough that it made Belly nervous

"And the good news? " Eddie asked

"Your name hasn't gone public yet" Robin informed

"Congratulations" Belly rolled her eyes muttering

"And if we found out, then it's only a matter of time before they do too and once that gets out everyone and their shallow minded mother is gonna be gunning for you" Robin explained 

"Hunt the freak, right? " Eddie asked

"Exactly" Robin replied 

"Shit" 

"So now, before that happens we find Vecna, kill him, and prove your innocence" Dustin said 

"That's all, Dustin? That's all? " Eddie asked 

"No yeah, that's pretty much it" He replied

"Listen Eddie, I know everything that Dustin is saying sounds totally delusional-"

Halfway through the conversation Belly zoned out, looking at Max, she thought about all the good times they had and the moment she decided to throw it all away, she realized she never wanted Max to go away, but rather the world, she'd rather have Max and lose everyone else than to lose Max and have others 

"Belly you're staring" Robin said 

"Huh? Uh-  I-" Belly stuttered looking between Max and Robin and everyone, who were unsurprisingly looking at her "The tarp Eddie" Belly spoke when they heard sirens 

"Shit" He whispered before getting under the tarp again 

All of them went towards the window to see what's happening and they see several police cars pass the place by and head somewhere ahead 

"We gotta follow them let's go" Belly spoke before running outside and getting into Steve's car, the others following

Now, she'd have loved to sit beside Max if it was happening a few months prior, but it wasn't, so she wasn't very thankful when she got the place to sit beside Max in the car ride, it was awkward and sometimes when they'd accidentally touch arms or legs or fingers, she'd get a weird feeling in her stomach, which by now is an unusual experience for her, but wasn't sure if it was the same for Max 

They finally reach the destination and see Nancy getting questioned by some officers

"You're saying that this thing, that killed Chrrisy and Fred was from the upside down?" Nancy questioned as now they were sitting on a bench

"Our working theory is that he attacks with a spell or a curse" Dustin explained "Now whether or not he's doing the bidding of the mind flayer or just loves killing teens, we don't know" 

"All we know is that, this is something different something new" Max expressed 

"Doesn't make sense" Nancy admits 

"It's only a damned theory" Belly said her voice low and deep as it is lately 

"No, Fred and Chrissy don't make sense, I mean, why them? " Nancy explained

"Maybe they were both in the wrong place at the wrong time" Dustin speculated 

"They were both at the game" Belly said 

"And at the trailer park" Max completed for her making eye contact, earning a nod from her

"We're at the trailer park" Steve said "Uh, should we maybe not be here? " 

"There is something about this place,  Fred started acting weird the second we got here" Nancy informed 

"Acting weird as in? " Robin questioned

"Scared, on edge, upset" 

"Max said Chrissy was upset too" Dustin informed

"Yeah but not here, she was crying in the bathroom at school" Max informed

"Serial killers stalk before they kill" Belly interjected as Robin nodded at her 

"So, maybe this Vecman-" Robin started

"Vecna" Dustin corrected 

"Dunno about you guys, but if I saw some freaky wizard I would mention it to someone" Steve expressed 

"Maybe they did" Max estimated “I saw Chrissy leaving Ms. Kelly's office, if you saw a monster you wouldn't go to the police, they'd never believe you, but you might go to your-" 

"Shrink" Belly completed 

They all got up and started moving towards Steve's car to execute their plan 

"Woah, woah woah woah, Nance, where are you going? " Steve asked when he saw Nancy headed towards the opposite direction

"Oh, there's just something I wanna check on first" She replied

"Something you wanna share with the rest of us?" Dustin asked

"I don't wanna waste your time it's a real shot in the dark" Nancy said 

Belly not being interested anymore just got insight the car and sat on the passenger seat, so that they wouldn't force her to sit with Max again 

"Always the babysitter, always the goddamned babysitter" Steve cursed getting into the driver's seat and starting the car 

The ride to Ms. Kelly's house wasn't very cruel, Belly just kept looking out of the window thinking about the last conversation she had with Martin, what all she said, she made a mental note to apologize once he's back
