After the whole day of working, translating Russian, and also messing around, eating ice cream, they managed to translate a whole phrase, it was night already and the whole mall was empty, except the four people at scoops ahoy, who were busy doing spycraft

"This week is long, the silver cat feeds, when blue meets yellow in the west" They all read off the board hanging up there

"I mean it just, it can't be right" Steve said closing the shop, before making his way out with the others while Belly kept humming to the song she kept hearing on the tape

"It's right" Robin said

"Honestly I think it's great news" Dustin added

"No, really, for the first time, me studying Russian was actually useful" Belly mentioned before continuing humming

"How is this great news? So much for being American heroes" Steve scoffed "It's total nonsense"

"It's not nonsense, it's too specific, it's obviously a code" Dustin informed

"What code?" Steve asked being clueless

"Like a secret spy code " Belly explained

"Now that's a total stretch" Steve said walking beside the Belly

"I don't know is it?" Robin said

"You're buying into this?" Steve asked in disbelief

"Just for kicks okay? Let's entertain the possibility that there is a Russian transmission what were they gonna say? Fire the warhead at noon?" Robin said making Belly nod

"Exactly" Dustin said

"And our translation is correct, I know that for sure, so, 'the silver cat feeds' why would anyone talk like that unless they are trying to mask the true meaning of the message?" Robin continued

"And, why'd they try to mask it, if the message wasn't somehow, violent or, illegal or sensitive?" Belly spoke making gestures in the air, with her hands

"Exactly" Dustin agreed

"Can you shut up for a second" Steve snapped at Belly who was still humming to the tune

"I was forced to listen to this same song over 10 times and it's stuck in my head, it might as well become my favourite at this rate" Belly sighed

"So I guess that confirms your suspicion" Robin looked at Steve

"Evil Russians" Dustin said

"I can't believe I am about to agree with this strange child but totally evil Russians" Robin said laughing

"So how do we crack it?" Dustin asked

Belly's eyes fell onto something, something that's gonna help them a lot, she looked at Steve,he was looking exactly where she was, they tried searching their pockets for coins, but weren't successful when Robin called before she gave them a quarter, Steve put in it the machine as the music starting playing

"Need help getting up little Stevie" Robin said making Dustin laugh

"Shh!" Belly snapped at them

"Would you two just shut up and listen" Steve spoke for both of them as they fell silent

"Holy shit!" Dustin cursed "The music!" He exclaimed before taking out the tape "The music!"

"What I don't understand" Robin asked confused

"The music, Robin" Belly pointed at the horse riding machine and then the tape in Dustin's hand "It's same"

"What if they have these in Russia?" Robin asked

"Indiana flyer, I don't ,I don't think so" Steve said looking at Belly

"It means the code, it didn't come from Russia, it came from here" She said pointing at the ground

The four made their way out of the mall, Dustin and Robin going on their bikes while Steve insisted on giving Belly a ride, which she gratefully accepted

"So, how's it going with Max?" Steve keeping his eyes on the road

"No, you tell me how's it going with-" she paused "Wait no one?" she laughed making Steve sigh

"Hey too far!" he jokingly spoke in a louder voice

"Yeah, sorry" she said "It's going good, I haven't talked to her about Lucas but, I will someday, I will" she said making him smile

Steve stopped the car near Belly's house she got out as so did he, he went towards her and gave her an encouragement hug before driving to his own house which was a couple minutes away, she walked near her house

"Who was he?" she jumped back at the sudden voice

"Why do you care Melissa?" she spoke not really wanting an answer as Melissa took a puff of her cigarette

"Because you are my daughter"  Melissa said walking towards her

"Oh and where was this 'care' when you left me at the age of 5 in a house full of drugs?" She asked tears now in her eyes, threatening to fall

"I was a fool to do that, and I will never forgive myself for what I did back then" Melissa said

"Good, me neither" Belly said before walking into the house and to her own room

Belly layed on her bed, her face in the pillow, as she let out silent sobs, she was now forced by her brain to remember it all, the door suddenly opened, revealing Martin he was smiling and cheerful

"So I just tried this dish out-" he was cut short by the sight he saw, Belly quickly wiped her tears sitting back up "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, it's just, too hot" she lied and her father wasn't dumb to play along, he put the dish aside as he walked towards her

"Really? You should've been better at making excuses" he sat on the bed "What happened?" he asked

"Melissa happened" she hugged her father, he hugged her back, tight, he knew it was all she needed

From the first day onwards, if she was sad, scared, anxious, hurt anything, just a hug and it'll all be just fine, she was never the one to open up immediately, gradually she did, but at the moment just holding her would make her feel safe and calm
