Happy knocked on the door of the large two story home in front of him, he took in every detail of the home he could see. The yellow paint that looked to be pretty new, the large white door and white window shutters, and the overall spotlessness that could be seen in every inch of the home. He reached up and knocked on the door impatiently all he wanted was to get the girl. The door slowly swung open and he saw it was answered by a girl with long curly hair who was wearing a raggedy dress, it was clearly too large for her and it looked to be warn out. She looked a lot like the picture  that he'd seen posted around May's apartment during the past couple of years; she felt so familiar, yet he didn't know a thing about her. He pushed down the thought that this was who he was looking for; the girl in front of him with her large brown eyes staring up at him looked too young to be Penny. She looked like she couldn't have been older than ten, maybe eleven, she was looking up at him questioningly as she held onto the door handle tightly, her knuckles turning white.

"M-may I help you Mister?" she asked.

"Yes, is this the Davis residence?"

"Yes sir." she replied softly.

"Okay, is Penny Parker here?"

"Th-That's me mister."

"Penny? You look so much smaller than I thought you would," he was shocked this small girl was a thirteen year old girl, he paused for a second, flashing her a warm smile, this was May's niece, Peter's baby sister. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Happy Hogan."

"I'm Penny. I'm Thirteen." she replied, she sounded slightly hurt by his comment, making him feel a bit guilty, "I'm-I'm just small for my age. Why do you need me?" she asked, her voice light and airy, yet so low he could barely hear her.

"Well-"

She quickly cut him off as if she feared something was wrong or if she knew that something had happened he wouldn't be surprised, Peter had a similar reaction when a police detective in a suit came to the compound last week, the boy had just frozen for a few seconds before replying, "she's dead isn't she?", the bitter, heart-broken words, fumbling out of his lips. She hiccuped slightly, he could hear her wheeze a little bit as she started to panic a little, "I-Is Peter Okay?! M-my brother, is h-he okay mister?" her eyes were quickly starting to water as her big brown eyes stared up at him.

"Yes, he's okay...don't cry kiddo. Please..." he begged, he wasn't the best with kids, especially when they were upset, "your guardianship has been changed as of 9:00am. I'm here to pick you up and take you to your new home." he announced matter-of-factly, as if it was the most simple thing in the world

She froze for a second, her expression dropping from a concerned one to a relatively blank one before her eyes lit up, before quickly going back to being dull and something he couldn't put his finger on.

"R-Really?" she asked, almost as if she was scared that it wasn't okay for her to ask the question.

"Yes. You're going to live with your brother. I can help you with your things."

"O-Okay I'll get my bag. But p-please please be quiet or m-my uncle will hear you..h-he's um..he's not feeling too well....m-migraines." she replied quickly.

Before Happy could respond to her, she quickly and quietly shut the door and he heard the sound of someone stumbling up the stairs. He stood there mystified at her quietly slamming the door in his face, he didn't know you could quietly slam a door. He decided to wait for her and sat patiently on the white swing by the door, the blue pillows on it must've been freshly washed because they smelled of lavender when he sat down, the scent reminded him of May who usually smelt like lavender and sweet jasmine. He was soon approached by a tall blonde woman, who looked at him strangely as she walked up the stairs.
