Issue #1: 「 When Their Eyes First Connected 」

Start from the beginning

Iris finally opened her eyes. Her face beamed with sudden joy once she realized her new surroundings.

"105?"

The sounds of the waves crashing onto one another was calming, compared to what she'd been through, it was breath of fresh air, quite literally.

"105~?"

The wind blowing pass her was cool and breezy. It gave her a pleasant tingle against her skin. It was more refreshing than–

"105!!"

The said girl snapped her focus onto the now enraged voice calling for her. The sudden shift in attention made the glowing curvy line come back reversed its effects from before. Her surroundings popped like a bubble, and suddenly, she was now back to the dingy, claustrophobic room that she grew to dislike.

"Iris, can I please have your attention now?" Came a question from polite sounding voice that came from her back.

Naturally, Iris turned to the opposite direction of where her front was. Not surprisingly, what she was another run-of-the-mill Staff Doctor, carrying a polite expression even though it was unnecessary.

She have been in this site long enough for her to notice the forced kind demeanor that the doctors put on when talking to her

"What do ya want?" Iris tried to not sound all uptight about their disturbance, but she couldn't help it. Just how many doctors have to visit and question/experiment on her for some peace & quiet?

The doctor cleared his throat awkwardly to wisp out the tension he felt when SCP-105 talked back to him. "W-Well, we would like to take some time off your day. Would that be alright with you?"

Normally, her answer would be no. But with the Foundation's certain control over her, she begrudgingly kept that answer all to herself. "Sure~"

She answered with the same uptight voice from before. Her lips contorted into a frown. Her arms loop over one another, putting them into a cross position.

"That's great! U-uh, make sure to pack your stuff. I'll be waiting for you outside." The doctor turned to his heel, opened the door, and took his leave.

Iris took in the limited silence she had left to contemplate for a little bit.

Just... what happened? What wrong did she do to deserve this...'life'. Honestly, she can't even say that this was her life, or a life in general. She felt more of a puppet than a living person, if she was being honest.

Right before she could finish her thoughts, a knock on the door was heard, leading to Iris staring at it out of curiosity. "We don't have all day, 105. Hurry it up in there." Some gruff sounding dude, probably the guard securing her door outside, called.

See her point? They'd call her by her item number, instead of like Miss Thompson or something... Actually, now that she thought about it, she'd rather be called that than 'Miss Thompson', it kinda makes her feel old.

Getting up from her bed, Iris took a deep sigh and straighten her orange uniform, all the while mentally preparing herself for another experiment.

She made her way up to the door. The barrier automatically shifted open once Iris got close enough for her to activate the trigger response.

She came face-to-face with the Doctor from earlier sporting nervous expression. "U-u-uh, I'll lead the way, d-don't fall behind." The Doctor stuttered, nervously smiling as he attempted to ignore his stuttering issue.

Iris's face showed no hatred nor ecstasy once following the doctor's lead. The walk was basically just the transition between the quietness of her room to the mind-boggling...experiences shall we say that the foundation was 'renowned' for.
