the start of our life

(Eddie graduated)
FEBRUARY 15TH 1988

Steve's alarm blared as he rolled in bed. He wrapped his arm around Eddie and nuzzled into his neck. Last night was a blur. Steve wasn't sure if he did anything with Eddie or not.

Steve groaned. "Did we do anything last night Eds?"

"Mph, i don't know..." Eddie replied.

They both rolled out of bed and put on proper clothes. Eddie worked at Palace arcade and Steve worked at Family Video. With their proper attire, they both walked out to Eddie's van. In comfortable silence, they drove to work. Eddie and Steve both got out of the van and kissed goodbye. Eddie walked to Palace Arcade and Steve walked into family video.

Eddie slouched behind the counter, it being a Monday, things where slow. As the clock hit noon, Steve and Robin snuck into the arcade, leaving Eddie grinning.

Steve handed Eddie a twenty and asked "can i get some tickets?"

"Sure thing." Eddie said, handing Steve the tickets.

"Thanks!" Steve said as him and robin go off into the arcade.

Eddie watched them, smiling. Just then a pain struck Eddie, worse than a stomach ache, worse than period cramps.

"Damn i must be hungry." Eddie whispered to himself.

Eddie started a pizza and waited for it to be done. Before the pizza finished, he grabbed a lil bag of chips and ate it. The pizza oven dinged and he took it out.

"Eds, you cooking pizza over there?" Steve asked.

"Mph- Yeah! Want some?" Eddie said while stuffing a slice into his mouth.

"Yeah!" Steve yelled back.

Eddie handed him two slices and they ate together. Eddie's stuffing his face with the greasy food and Steve was concerned for his boyfriend.

"Eddie you okay?" Steve asked.

"Yeah?" Eddie replied, finishing the last slice of the pizza.

"Well i'm just worried 'cause i had two slices and you at the rest of the eight slice pizza." Steve worries.

"Mmmmm you calling me fat?" Eddie asked.

"Oh no no no, just you had breakfast, i dunno how you can have like six slices of pizza." Steve replies

"Oh, well i am just hungry." Eddie says truthfully. 

Steve nodded as he checked his watch.

"Shit, ROBIN WE GOTTA GO!" Steve yelled.

Steve gave Eddie a kiss goodbye and dragged robin out of the arcade. Eddie cleaned up and slouched behind the counter again.

Eddie drives home with Steve in silence. Once they reached home, Steve went to cook and Eddie plopped down on the couch turning on the tv.
