87. Training 🗓️🗓️🗓️

I don't get why,
Sierra seems normal.
She doesn't seem depressed, she eats normally, she has energy.

Draco's convinced somethings wrong with her but there's no way of knowing.

She won't let us in.

Meanwhile I've spent a lot of time with my father.

I train an extra hour longer then everyone except Sierra.

He trains me alone for that hour.
He says it's because I'm his son and he wants to spend more time with me, but that's bullshit.
He's doing it because I'm a horcrux.

My father compares me to Draco a lot.
He says Draco masters spells in days and I can't.

He tells me that Draco is stronger and learns faster then almost every one of his death eaters.

He tells me that Draco is the biggest weapon here.

He says that if he died and needed someone to take over, he would want it to be Draco.

He says that the only thing that Draco
used to lack is ruthlessness.

Not anymore.
My dad forces the 5 of us to kill 2 people a week.

He says it's to build resilience against a loss of energy when using the curse.

He started easy.
He broke criminals out of Azkaban and forced us to kill them.

That wasn't hard for any of us after hearing the crimes they were convicted of.

They were convicted of things like mass murders or bombings.

The worst of the worst.
They were easy kills for us all.

Then he brought criminals who weren't as bad but still bad.

Currently he brings burglars and thieves.
All of us feel slightly uneasy killing them since they don't deserve death.

He also makes us watch each other as we kill.
His idea of making us ruthless is working.

At the start killing was a weird feeling and we were all hesitant even if they were criminals.

It used to take as long as 30 minutes for each person to kill 2 people because of the hesitation and guilt.

Now it's easy.
We walk in, cast the curse and walk out.
Every time we kill less energy drains.

The guilt factor disappeared too.

Killings become first nature for us 5.
We're only 17 and we can kill with almost no remorse.

It's so weird seeing Draco who used to get sick at the thought of killing someone walk in and murder like it was nothing.

At the end of the day none of us were any better then those criminals we've killed.

Except we didn't have a choice.
It was kill or be killed.

September 8th
School started 7 days ago but we're not returning to Hogwarts this year.

We would've been in year 7 which is the last year.

It's my fault Sierras like this.
She was perfect untouched.

I just had to make my way into her life and fuck her up. It's my fault she's a death eater.

She tells us she does this it's because she wants to become stronger.

That seems like a perfectly believable reason for this intense training but I know her.
