We're in the strangest predicament ever. To add to that we're only high-schoolers, how about that.
My name is Kaede Akamatsu, and I {Along with 15 others} , have been trapped in a murderous killing game with and equally murderous monochrome-robot-bear. God, that was a mouthful. I've met 15 other people while i've been here, a mysterious guy who can't remember his ultimate talent. A religious, and oddly disturbing artist, a retired tennis pro, a proclaimed "leader" of a secret evil organization, a very... dedicated Neo-Aikido master, an interesting anthropologist, a sweet and rather buff dude who loves bugs, a passionate cosplayer, an inappropriate inventor, and so on. But there's this one guy who's caught my attention, his name is Shuichi Saihara. Saihara is an amazing detective who's sorta insecure, but I don't mind. Saihara is literally one of the sweetest guys I've met, and one of the most skittish. Listen, I know what you're all thinking "Ooh, Kaede's got a crush on Saihara~" and.. you'd be right. I've only known Saihara for a day or two but I've already grown attached, but if you think I'm obsessed with him on a crazy level.. You're most definitely wrong. Yes, I admire him and I'm sort of crushing on him, but if you think that makes me think I'm his 'damsel in distress' or something- You're also very wrong. I, Kaede Akamatsu, are a girl-boss. No, I don't think i'm above Saihara either. You wanna know something? Girl-bosses can have puppy-crushes too! I know how to stand my ground and be independent without developing a superiority complex, I think. But less on me senselessly rambling and more on my main problem. Over the past few days, I've noticed Saihara's certain attraction to a classmate of ours. This classmate would be Momota. Momota is a wonderful guy, and we're pretty close friends. Saihara has already been proclaimed as Momota's "Side-kick" and I find it absolutely hilarious when Saihara gets absolutely beet red when called it by Momota, but just because I find it funny doesn't mean I necessarily like it. Saihara and Momota are really close, they hit it off at the start. When Saihara isn't with me doing our usual business, he's with Momota. I'm honestly jealous of Momota, I'm jealous of the way he makes that certain spark in Saihara's eyes appear, I wish I could be as close with Saihara as he is with Momota.
