Saving Me

Dear Charlotte,

thank you. Today you saved me. When your brothers were going to kill me you stepped in front of me in order to protect me. You knew that the white oak could kill you but you didn't care. When I asked you why you did that you told me that you wanted to save me and that you knew that your brothers wouldn't kill you. Despite my behaviour, you are always there for me even when I tell you that I want to be alone. You sit there beside me and you don't leave unless you know that I am okay. Although how many times people have hurt you, you always help those who are in need. And this is one of the things that I love the most about you. Your kindness.

Unfortunately, you often put others first and forget about you. I hope that one day you will finally realise that you have to put yourself first for once.
