Chapter 5

Abhi and Jai were in cafeteria. A girl came there dragging Avu with herself. Abhi's back was facing them so he didn't see while Jai was sitting in front of him so he saw them coming. Jai waved his hand at the girl smiling seeing them from distance. They both came there. Abhi saw her and stood up smiling.

Abhi: Hii Vaishu

He said hugging her.

He broke the hug and saw Avu standing behind her.

Abhi: Hey Avni

He said with a small smile which she returned awkwardly.

Avu: Hii

Vaish: Hii Jai bro. How are you?

Jai: I am good. Tu bata? Lecture lagaye saare tum dono ne?

Vaish: Of course bro

They all settled down.

Jai: Kya khaoge? Mein le aata hu

Vaish: Yee okk

They told their orders to Jai. He left to get them. Abhinavi were busy in their couple talks while Avu was sitting there awkwardly. She took out her phone to avoid the discomfort.

Vaish: Ashu kaha hai?

Abhi: Aa raha hoga. Waise tum batao tume aaj kal meri yaad hi nhi aati

Vaish: Oh please. Aesa kuch nhi hai. You know I have practical classes these days to usme busy hoti hu

Abhi: Hmm okk

Sid came after few minutes. Vaish stood up and hugged him. He got a chair from another table and sat beside Abhi. Vaish's phone started ringing.

Vaish: Guys I will just come after taking this

Avu was looking at her with pleading eyes not to leave her there with them. Vaish mouthed a sorry and went a bit far and took the call. Avu was sitting quitely while Sidshek were having random talks.

Abhi: To aaj kitne baje tak hai lectures?

Sid: Mere to aaj 4 baje tak hai bhayia. Aapke?

Abhi: 2:30 tak hai. Mein library mein pad loonga. Tu laga lio lectures

Sid: Aur aapka test tha na aaj kaisa hua?

Abhi: Hnn theek ho gya?

Sid: Yaad hai mom ne subah kya kaha tha? Jai se zyada marks aa jaenge ya nhi?

He asked not seriously. He was just teasing Abhi as he knew it irritates Abhi a lot when he is compared to Jai. Avu looked up from her phone as Sid mentioned about. She was glaring at Sid.

Abhi: Sid just shut up okk. Tujhe pata hai I don't like all this

Sid: Arre bhai chill itna bhi kya bol dia

Abhi: Tu na rehne de please

He got up and went towards Vaish who has yet not returned.

Avu: To tume lagta hai ki tumhare bhai ke mere Jai se zyada marks aayenge?

Sid looked here and there to check if she was talking to him only. When he didn't find anyone, he pointed his finger to himself as if confirming that she was talking to him only.

Avu: Oh yes Nigam I am talking to you only

Sid: Oh seriously!!! OMG what did I do to owe this pleasure Nandra?

Avu: Baat matt badlo tum. Mere bhayia ke baare mein jo bhi baat kar rahe wo sab suna maine. Tume lagta hai na ki mere bhayia ke marks kam aayenge

Sid: Dekho mein aesa kuch...

Avu: (cuts him) Tumhari problem kya hai hnn? Tum khud ko samajte kya ho hnn?

First Sid was about to clear that he was just teasing him but seeing her attitude, he dropped that.

Sid: Hnn mujhe lagta hai. Tum kya kar logi hnn?

Avu: Theek hai. To lets have a bet then

Sid: Kya? Aur mein tumse baat bhi kyu kar raha hu?

Avu: Oh so as expected Nigam you are such a darpok

Sid: Huh!!! Okk theek hai mein kisi se darra nhi hu. Batao kya bet hai

Avu: Well jiske bhi bhai ke zyada marks aayenge doosre ko uski saari baatein maanni hongi

She said forwarding her hand.

Sid: Ye kya bachkani harkat hai hnn?

Avu: Oh see boldo na darr lagta hai. Tumhe trust hi nhi apne bhai par. Haar jaooge aur kisiki baat maanoge to tumahri ego hurt hogi. Right? Theek hai koi ni. It's okk. I understand

Before she could pull her hand to herself, Sid held it doing a  handshake.

Sid: Okk fine. So bet is on

Avu: Done

Till then, Abhinavi and Jai also returned.

Vaish: Jai Reem kaha hai?

Jai: Hamara department different Vaishi if you forgot

Vaish: I didn't forget anything. But wo teri girlfriend hai so you would be knowing na

Jai: Arre yrr...wo dekho aa gayi

He said looking behind. They had their food while talking with each other except Sidneet. Everybody tried to involve them in conversation but they were no really interested. They didn't have any problem from Vaishreem though and were quite good friends with them.
