I heard a bell ring from downstairs , grace . It was time for dinner.
I rushed to the dinning room with my 'siblings ', mr. Hargreeves insists that we are all siblings. But we all collectively agreed. I'm not one of the siblings , I'm like a friend having a permanent sleepover
I stood behind my seat waiting for mr. Hargeeves to tell us to sit .
" sit" he announced , we all did so immediately then digging into our food
I smiled as the taste of the delicious meal melted in my mouth and closed my eyes , Grace's cooking was second to none, i heard klaus snicker when he looked at me . I shot him a death glare then made spiders crawl up his arm
His eyes widened and just as he opened his mouth to scream I stopped, I did not want to be in trouble today.
Suddenly five stabbed the table, we all looked at him
" number five" mr. Hargreeves sighed
" I have a question " five said
" knowledge is an admiral goal, but you know the rules. No talking during meal time. you are interrupting herr Carlson ." He replied
" I want to time travel "
" no."
" but I'm ready. I've been practicing my special jump just like you said. See! "
" a special jump is trivial when compared with the unknowns of time travel . One is like sliding along the ice , the other is akin to descending blindly into depths of the freezing water and re appearing as an acorn"
" I dont get it"
" hence, the reason your not ready."
" I'm not afraid."
" fear isnt the issue , the effects it might have on your body. On your mind. Are unpredictable, now I forbid you to talk about this anymore!"
Five ran off , I quickly ran after him
He was about to teleport when I grabbed his wrist
" where are you going?" I asked
" to the future " he replied bluntly
" but what if mr.hargreeves is right? What if it affects your mind and body" I panicked. He sighed and looked down , I cupped his cheek " just tell me why you want out so bad. I could help" my eyes began to glow purple as I tried to infiltrate his mind , he pulled my hand of off his face
" no, dont use your powers on me" he covered up my eyes , I stopped " I just... wanna impress everyone yknow?"
" yeah I know" I said with a weak smile
" but hey, I'll be back in no time , two days tops. " he grabbed both of my shoulders gently
" promise?" I asked with my pinky out
" promise " he locked ours together
" oh and i saw what happened the other day when you found mr.hargreeves alcohol cellar. So you better not drink to much when your there , I hate it ." I huffed " we're not even allowed to drink yet"
" I wont " he chuckled "now I've got to go . Bye."
Wait there was so much more I wanted to say! As he teleported I tried to grab him again ending in me flying backwards as what felt like electricity pulsed through my body, i landed on the floor and passed out. Ah shit.
