Author's pov:

Harry was in front of the mirror, fixing his black tie, getting ready for office. Zayn entered the room, but he was scared to talk with harry. . Last night harry didn't utter a single word to zayn. Zayn doesn't like when harry stops talking to him. It feels like the whole world has stopped talking with him. So he wanted to start talking to him first.

"Harry, ... I am ....sorry," Zayn said from behind which made Harry turn toward Zayn.

"Zayn, don't be sorry. I know I was being too much strict with you. I shouldn't be so rude to you yesterday. " Harry said with a smile as he hold Zayn's shoulder and made his body closer to him.

Zayn smiled as he looked up at Harry with grateful eyes and Harry smiled him back.

"I know you want better for me and my family, thanks for that," Harry said as gave a weak smile to Zayn.

"Harry, I don't want you to get apart from your mom, after  all, she is your mom, Harry, you can't leave her "

"I know Zayn, this thing of yours makes me love you more. " Harry crouched down to Zayn and gave a peck on Zayn's cheek.

"Thank you, Harry." Zayn blushed as he looked down.

"by the way, today we are invited by one of my colleagues for dinner. Be ready I will come to take you. " harry said, instead of being happy, Zayn became gloomy which was noticed by Harry.

"What happened Zayn? Don't you want to come? Please don't say no."

"no Harry, I want to. But you know how uncomfortable I feel being with people." Zayn whined as he looked down.

"But Zayn."

"Harry you know me how I am, I am not an outgoing, social person. Please don't drag me there " Zayn whined looking down, he doesn't want to disappoint Harry.

"Zayn, please" Harry crouched down a little for being at the same height as Zayn. "Please only for me, will you go?" Harry pleaded by giving a little pout, which made a laugh slip out from his mouth.

"But, Harry..."

"No, Zayn you are coming, that's it. Now take preparation for it. I don't want to hear anything." Harry said this time in a mix of serious tunes and turned to the mirror again.

Zayn sighed, he had to agree, how can he say no to Harry? Anyway, deep inside he is excited to go out with harry. He had not gone out with harry since a decade passed.

"Harry, son, when will you come back from the office?" Anne asked as she entered the room. Zayn slowly gasp when he saw Anne, he gulped his saliva shifting weight from side to side

"Mom, we are invited for dinner tonight. I hope you won't mind." harry said looking at his mom.

"what? Why Harry? Why does zayn need to go?" Anne said in frustration. Zayn was expecting this type of reaction from Anne.

"Mom, we are newly married so my colleagues invited me and zayn. And why Zayn won't go. He is invited too." Harry snaps at his mom.

"who will make my dinner?"

"won't you be able to make it by yourself?"  harry retorted which made zayn and Anne look at him with wide eyes. That's what Zayn was scared of, he doesn't like, he doesn't like to see, mother-son fighting. It breaks his heart. The more he tries to make everything right between them, the more conflict occurs.

"What? Harry, is this the way you are talking to your mom? I know, for this boy, you are misbehaving with your mom. This boy has already manipulated you so much ......
