Cho Seungyoun disliked the outside world and there are multiple reasons as to why-

"MENTOR CHO! HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND!" A loud and oddly cheery 23 year old woman waved her hands so Seungyoun could see her form her distance.

Oh well, would you look at that one of the reasons is here!

As soon as she realised Seungyoun had noticed her she began to make her way towards him with a big fresh smile on her face.

It terrified him.

He wanted to run away but he sure as hell knew it was too late for that.

"Kang Mina, how... lovely to see you" Seungyoun gave a flat smile, trying to ignore the subtle pounding in his head and her existence.

Don't get him wrong, he didn't hate hate the girl she was just the most obnoxiously enthusiastic person he had ever met and that itself bothered him.

In fact he hated the fact that he found her annoying since she was too kind for her own good.

He honestly felt bad for having some sort of dislike towards the girl.

"You look tired Seungyoun. Can I call you that Mentor Cho?" The cheerful soul asked.

Seungyoun sighed "you need more than 4 months here to be on first name basis with me."

"So do you think in a year we'll be good friends?" Her eyes sparkled at the possibility of ever being friends with the dull soul that is Cho Seungyoun.

"Sure" he answered tiredly before walking away from Mina, towards the entrance of the building.

"He said sure! There is a possibility!" Mina grinned to herself.

"Mentor Cho! Wait for me!" Mina gripped her bag strap and ran after him.

"Cho Seungyoun you must take responsibility about this deleted branch situation!" Seungyoun's boss, Mr Jo spat angrily.

"She was under your supervision how could you not realise that Ms Kang had deleted the main branch of the programme!" Mr Jo paced back and forth in a rapid manner, the man was fuming- no fuming wouldn't even describe what Mr Jo was feeling.

He was about to go ballistic.

"You are her senior! Therefore her mistakes are your mistakes!" He spoke flatly.

"But sir! Mr Cho has nothing to do with this! It was my mistake and I'm very sorry!" Mina exclaimed quickly.

"No, Ms Kang. Cho is to blame he is an experienced employee he should know not to leave you to do stuff by yourself!" Mr Jo dismissed Mina's protest.

"But sir-" she began eagerly.

"What do you have to say for yourself, Seungyoun?" Mr Jo cut Mina off to question the weirdly blank face of Seungyoun.

Seungyoun took a deep breath, trying to keep his calm demeanour up. "You're right Mr Jo. She was my responsibility and I was careless, I'm sorry."

"I'll make sure to improve so this doesn't happen again. Once again I apologise Mr Jo for the inconvenience I have caused." He said emotionlessly but somehow you could sense the genuineness in his tone.

"Good" Mr Jo uttered.

"Dissmissed" he waved them off both.

Mina and Seungyoun left the room with their heads still facing the cold ground as they walked away with their heads bowed.

If Seungyoun could describe what he felt at that moment he would say he felt like utter shit. An embarrassed piece of shit.

"Mentor Cho... I'm really sorry, it's all my fault. I'm sorry" Mina fumbled with her words, her eyes as fragile as glass as tears were beginning to well up in her eyes.

Sure, Seungyoun was beyond pissed and he did feel like screaming at her, but Mr Jo was right he should be supervising her and aiding her since she was his junior.

Seungyoun sighed deeply "it's okay. It was technically my fault anyways."

"But for damage control please don't come in to work physically for two days otherwise I might kick you." Seungyoun stated, feeling quite bad for saying that, but it was the ultimate truth.

"Understandable" Mina shrugged.

"I promise to work harder and not to make anymore mistakes" she punched her fist up in the air enthusiastically.

Seungyoun smiled thinly at her youthful enthusiasm, for he had once said similar words and his mentor. His response to the young man had been a very touching experience for he had told him that "you can't promise not to make anymore mistakes since you already are one."

See, touching.

It touched his heart like a dagger piercing his artery.

"Don't promise stuff like that since making mistakes is part of the living process, but please refrain from making any." He almost pleaded.

Seungyoun hated being yelled at, it made him feel like there was no source of oxygen in the world anymore to the point that he felt he could no longer coherently form a sentence.

To wrap it all up it just felt downright horrible.

"I'll try" Mina smiled brightly.

"I'm sorry again Mentor Cho. Please let me make it up to you-"

"Kang it's okay you really don't have to" he declined, waving his hands as a way of saying no.

"Aw that's a shame I was going to go to the barbecue restaurant a couple blocks away" Mina frowned innocently, knowing damn well that Cho Seungyoun has no pride left in him to decline such an offer.

Seungyoun paused "oh well since you insisted."
