Last night had been rough. I couldn't get to sleep, as usual, so that was crappy. We were on the move again, but I was driving this time. Mom taught me to drive when I was about 13, in case she got drunk and no one was sober enough to drive. Not that she remembered that when she was drunk. She just drove anyway.  

I could see the hills in the horizon, so that meant we were about an hour away from the festival. I'd been there before, so I knew where to go. I recognise a few things here and there. Mom was still in the back sleeping buy Blue was in the passenger seat next to me, bouncing up and down with a chocolate bar in his hand.  

" Blue, i thought I said no chocolate. " I sighed. He just veined at me with chocolate coated teeth, so I laughed and tickled him with one hand. The caravan began to swerve violently across the road and I laughed my head off, Blue giggling beside me.  

" Aaagh!! " Mom screamed, as she woke up with jolt from all the swerving. She realised what was happening and climbed into the front, Blue on her lap and we twisted the steering wheel randomly, getting in everyones way. It was so funny watching people go red with anger when we got in their way!! 

Suddenly, I heard a voice coming from a mega phone, and a police siren. 

" The people in the mini caravan, please slow down and pull over. Slow down, and pull over. Thankyou." 

I climbed into the back with Blue and mom pulled over.  

" We'll stay here mom. Call if you want us." I said. She nodded and got out, shutting the door behind her. 

I pressed my head against the side of the caravan and listened to what was being said. 

" Miss, you do know what you were doing was very irresponsible and dangerous. " The man said. He sounded young, around in his 20's.  

" I'm very sorry officer, but I was half asleep and my children can't drive for me. " My mom apologised. We both know I can drive, but mom needs an excuse. I heard the officer sigh and ge continued. 

" Have you been in trouble with the police officer before, miss? " He asked. Well, duh, of course we have, but what can mom say? 

" Umm... Yes. " mom muttered.  

" Do you know any names of the officers you have met before, miss, so we can get more information? " The officer asked.  

" Yes, " Mom replied. " I remember one was called Cain Matthews. Dashing young lad. " I'd never heard of him before. She probably met him before I helped her with stealing and stuff.  

" Thankyou, miss. I know him, so I will contact him. Luckily he is stationed near hear. Please can you get your children to exit the vehicle. " I heard him say, then he began to talk to someone through what I presume was a walkie-talkie.
