'Just hang on Josh...'

* * *

I pushed open the doors of the hospital and ran straight for the desk. I spoke to the first nurse there as best I could breathless.

"Alpha Jordan - is bringing - in Josh. He collapsed - at the - initiation site..."

As her eyes widened, the nurse quickly informed the others to get a stretcher out. She pulled out the phone and called the healer. Each pack has only one healer, but the nurses, however, are simple helpers to the healer, even though they are basically ranked equally.

With my hands behind my head, I paced back and forth. I couldn't help but be antsy as I wanted the healer here as soon as possible. I considered sitting down, but I didn't want to panic. I knew sitting down would only make it worse. Seconds later, Alpha Jordan and the others came in with Josh. The nurses met them half way with the stretcher. They placed Josh on the stretcher while one of the nurses checked his pulse.

"60 over 35. We need to get him in there fast." The nurse stated. They began rushing him to the back of the room towards two double doors. I attempted to follow them, but the head nurse told me to "stay back" and that I had to "wait in the waiting room." And honestly, that's the worst. I stood there staring at the door not knowing what may happen to my best friend - no, my brother - praying that he'd be ok. Then, I felt a hand on my arm. I looked up to see Alpha Jordan. He gave me a small smile and motioned for me to come sit with them. So, I reluctantly followed.

*Selena's POV*

We all got up early to pack while it was still dark. I helped gathered some things when I saw an empty beer bottle roll across the ground.

I shook my head, 'Colt always has too many parties. He had better clean this up because I'm sure not!'

As I thought that, a drunken Colt stumbled out of a tent, beer still in hand. 'Speak of the devil, here he is.'

Colt Mason just so happens to be in my school. He is an all around crazy, but fun guy who loves to have parties that are equally as crazy. His brother, Levi Mason is just the opposite. He studies hard and gets good grades in school. Now he still loves a good party, however, he is not nearly as crazy as his brother Colt.

"Mmm," He muttered. He made eye contact with me, but it took him a few seconds before he registered who I was.

"Ohh... Heeyy Seleena. Am I 'n your wayy or somethin'?" he slurred.

"No, but you need to clean this tent up. We're leaving soon."

Levi then stepped out of the tent, "Oh don't worry, He'll clean it up alright." He glanced authoritatively at his younger brother.

'It's hilarious how different they are,' I thought as I shook my head at them.

Shoving Colt back inside the tent, Levi was about to follow after him, until he turned back to face me.

"Hey, by the way, me and a few other people from class are going to the lake Sunday. Would you like to join us?"
