A Tadahoney Love Story

Chapter 11

[The days turned into weeks and Hiro, Honey Lemon, and the others came to visit Tadashi every day. Honey Lemon would always hold his hand while reading him his favorite books, while she put on his favorite singers and bands on a low volume level, and while just talking to him in general. She gave him kisses on the cheek, and forehead since she couldn't kiss him on his lips because he was wearing the oxygen mask, she would pray beside him, sing to him, sometimes she fell asleep by his bedside while holding his hand, and even her parents came to visit him to take care of him. Soon enough, the weeks into a month and now it was December 7th, 2013. Honey Lemon went to visit Tadashi by herself and soon the others would get there]
{At the hospital in Tadashi's room}
Aiko: Hey, babe, how're you doing today?
(She kisses his cheek)
Aiko: It's almost finals week at school, I've been studying nonstop and my fashion portfolio is almost done. I might just turn it in early, you know me, I'm an overachiever
(She giggles and holds his hand)
Aiko: The others are coming over in a little bit, they should be here in a couple of minutes. You know, I can't wait until you wake up and get up from this bed, so we can do everything we used to do together. Hanging out with the gang and Hiro, going to the movies, museums, the amusement park, the skating park, and the regular park
(She laughs)
Aiko: We've got so much to talk about, Dash, I really miss you, and I love you so much
(Suddenly, Tadashi started to move his head)
Aiko: Tadashi?
(Just then Tadashi opened up his eyes)
Aiko: Tadashi, ay Diosito, gracias, gracias mi virgencita de Guadalupe, gracias mis arcángeles y angelitos. Tadashi, you're awake, I'll be right back
(She let go of his hand and ran out the room)
{Outside the room}
(The doctor was passing by)
Aiko: Doctor, he's awake, he's awake
Doctor Williams: What?
Aiko: Yes, Tadashi woke up, he just opened his eyes
Doctor Williams: Nurses, come with me, now!
(Three nurses that were near ran over and they went into the room. Aiko tried to run inside but one of the nurses stopped her)
Nurse #1: I'm sorry ma'am, but you can't come in
Aiko: No wait, please, let me in, I need to see him
Nurse #1: Wait here
(She went inside and closed the door and suddenly the others arrived)
Leiko: Hey, what's going on?
Aiko: Tadashi opened his eyes
Everyone else: What?!
Aiko: Yes, he's awake, Tadashi's awake
Aunt Cass: Oh praise the Lord
Hiro: Yes!
Wanjohi: I knew he would wake up
Leiko: That's great
Frederick: That's our buddy
Mrs.Rodriguez: Gracias a Dios
Mr.Rodriguez: Thank God
<after around half an hour>
(The doctor and nurses were coming in and out and Aiko was walking around in circles)
Mrs.Rodriguez: Mija, calm down
Aiko: I can't, mamá
Mr.Rodriguez: Everything will be ok
(The doctor came out)
Aunt Cass: How is he?
Doctor Williams: He is perfectly well, we were just doing some tests on him, but you can see him now, one at a time, please
(Hiro ran inside)
{Inside Tadashi's hospital room}
Hiro: Tadashi
Tadashi: Hey knucklehead, so what, you just gonna stand there and gawk at me
[Hiro had tears running down his cheeks, he ran over, and Hiro hugged his brother then Tadashi hugged him back]
(Aunt Cass ran in)
Tadashi: Hey, Aunt Cass
(Aunt Cass cried and ran to hug him as well. He hugged her back with his other arm and his friends then walked in]
Tadashi: Hey guys
Wanjohi: Hey dude
Frederick: Hey buddy
Leiko: Hiya Hamada
[Honey Lemon and her parents then walked in and Aunt Cass went to the other side. She put her arm around his shoulders, her cheek on his head, and the others gave Honey Lemon room]
Tadashi: Hi there
[Honey Lemon started crying and ran to Tadashi. She laid her head on his heart, grabbed a hold of his hospital shirt, and clung to him crying her eyes out. Tadashi then caressed the back of her hair]
Tadashi: It's okay, I'm here, I'm awake
Mr.Rodriguez: You gave us quite a fright, son
Mrs.Rodriguez: We're just glad you're ok, sweetie
Tadashi: Thank you, Mr. and Mrs.Rodriguez
(Tadashi kissed the top of Honey Lemon's head)
Aiko: I-I, I m-missed you so much, I love you Tadashi
Tadashi: I love you too, Aiko
[Aunt Cass and Hiro pulled away from Tadashi and they and the others turned around to give them a sense of privacy. Tadashi and Honey Lemon leaned in and shared a soft and loving kiss, but then the doctor walked in]
Doctor Williams: Sorry to interrupt
(Tadhoney pulled away and the others turned back around)
Aiko: It's fine
Tadashi: So when can I leave this place? Right now?
(The doctor chuckles as does everyone else)
Doctor Williams: No, no yet, I want to keep you for observation during this week and then you can go home
Tadashi: Ugh, but I feel fine
Aunt Cass: Sweetie, listen to the doctor, please
Doctor Williams: You'll be able to go home soon enough, you'll see. Well, if you'll excuse me, I need to see other patients, but if you need anything just press the button
[He leaves and throughout the day, everyone hangs out with Tadashi, they take care of him, they make him laugh, they talk with him, and of course, Honey Lemon gave him lots of hugs and kisses. At night, everyone goes home and they let Tadashi rest up]
