' dust got up and teleported killer and him to his room, thats where killer mostly lets stress out, dust is their best friend even if they don't act like it. Horror is another one of killer best friends too, yes, but dust been with them the longest. Nightmare knows everything about killer, but can't help due to them being a ball of negativity that affects killer even with the emotion block. .
