He knew you needed to talk but he didn't want you to keep thinking about it
"It lasted for 7month then it was over...everything...." You nervously laughed before adding "I still loved him though how couldn't I... But you know what they say, there's nothing more pathetic than a bitch in denial"
"Huh who's they ?" Yoshida asked while raising an eyebrow
You gave him a death stare before going back to your monologue
"so we broke up and I felt nothing really I don't know why but there was nothing... and one night at a party I got drunk and I met rozenn"
"The one and only" he added in an amused tone
"That's it, you're done" you said before standing up to leave
"Aw come on" Yoshida responded before standing up to follow you as you made your way to the counter to pay for your drink
"How much it will be ?" You asked the lady working there
"What did you order?" She asked you in a jaded tone
"A strawberry sirop"
"Oh yeah, your friend over there already payed"
You immediately turned your head only to see yoshida waiting for you at the door with his hands in his jackets pocket
You let out a sigh of annoyance before thanking the barista and leaving
"I'll give you back your money" you said to him as you both were walking outside
"Nah it's okay" he raised his head to stare at the sky while walking next to you "you're feeling better?"
"Well you started interrogating me on the phone then when I told you to leave me alone you still found a way to find me and when I decided to talk about what made me cry you interrupted me MULTIPLE times and on top of that you payed for my drink so no, no I am not feeling better if that's what you're wondering"
"That's a lot of words for just thanking me but I guess you're welcome" yoshida shrugged before you pushed him away as he annoyed you
He laughed which also made you laugh a little
"What are you doing now ? Going home ?" He asked while coming back next to you
"I don't know to be honest I don't really like home"
"How come?"
"You know it's just how it is, I'm an only child and my parents aren't the most interesting people, of course I got pogo with me but still"
"okay I get it"
You both kept walking silently before you said " you know what's funny?"
"Tell me"
"At the beginning I was the one trying to get near you but now look who's chasing me" you arrogantly said to him
"Yeah no that's not true"
"No but like damn you're really a fan"
You successfully made yourself giggle but on the other hand yoshida was as unbothered as ever
"You know that's destiny, do you believe in destiny?" You enthusiastically asked him
"Destiny huh? No not really"
"Well I believe in it, cause to be honest it wouldn't be fun otherwise"
Yoshida looked at you before asking "and why ?"
"Well if bad stuff happens it's because it was supposed to happen and you shouldn't blame yourself for it and instead take it as a lesson for the future"
"You know that what you just said could easily be contradicted" he said before giggling a little
"Probably but if I cared about what everyone had to say about me or my beliefs I would never sleep at night" you shrugged
"I suppose you're right"
