"Are you sure this is the one?"
He watched as the child sat themself on the couch, then turned themself upside down, attempting to watch the TV.
"Yes."
A small smile graced her lips as the 9-year-old turned themself the right way up, hands on their head, complaining about a head rush.
"They're the one."
"Then, in 6 years time, when they've reached the age of 15, you shall introduce yourself to this human, and you will be their guardian for life."
"Thank you, Katsumi."
"Congratulations, Akira. You are now one of us." He bowed his head slightly.
A/N: I apologise I took so long for such a short chapter that doesn't even including Hunter or y/n. I had written out half a chapter before completely changing my mind and deleting the entire thing.
