No ones POV

Y/n walked behind the class she was assigned to , she stayed back a little watching all the families that came of their own accord

It made her envious ,  she wanted what they had , a true family , a dad , a mom

She had a dad but her mom wasn't in the picture anymore ,she had left them back in Korea , for money or whatever

Y/n didn't have a problem not seeing her mom , or so she thought , but the more she saw how different she was from the others the more she wanted to have a mom

Just then Mrs.Po came up behind her "Mrs.l/n are you alright?" She asks softly , like a mother

Y/n looked up at Mrs.Po taking in her features

She looked young , whether she was young or not didn't concern y/n

Y/n then pointed down at all the families "do you have that?" She asked and Mrs.Po turned to look at them confused

"Have what?" She asked and y/n sighed "that , what those people have? A mom and a dad ? A family?" She asked

Mrs.Po smiled and nodded "yes I do , some would say I have two" she started "me and my husband and our son and daughter and my parents and siblings" she continued

Y/n frowned "ah , you have big family" she stated

Mrs.Po caught onto what was going on

"Just because you and your dad are the only ones together here in China doesn't mean you don't have a family y/n" she states putting a comforting hand on the girls shoulder

"I have a broken family , a separate family , it doesn't feel like a real family" y/n stated

No matter how much she wanted to call what her and her dad had a family , she couldn't bring herself to do that

Mrs Po frowned "I know , I know its hard to accept what you have , but in the end the one who stays for you , is all the family you need" she said with a smile

It was enough to make y/n smile , Mrs.Po took y/n into a side hug
"Now go have fun!" She said pushing her ahead

-time skip-

The kids gather on the busses to ride home , the field trip had come to an end much to Y/n's dismay

She had sat in the back away from most , most kids sat in the front with their friends and what not

Y/n really just wanted to be alone , alone to manage her feelings for a certain boy .

She sighed "I've never had feelings for a guy , this is so weird " she said talking quietly to herself , but a nosey boy who happened to hear her sat next to her

"Liang?" She asks and he nods , he then looks to the side and back at her "you've never liked a guy before?" He asks curiously

She blushes a bit in embarrassment at the fact that he heard her .

Either way , she nodded "yeah , it is" she said looking looking down at her lap , would he find out about her liking girls?

Maybe she could trust him , he never bothered her , so maybe there was a chance

He then smiles "ah so like this is your first time liking someone in general?" He asks trying to lead on a conversation

She shakes her head "no...I've dated someone before.." She starts unable to finish , she felt her got the message

He then smiled wider "wait so....you're gay?" He says in a hushed tone , y/n had thanked him for it

She nodded a little bit shook her hand  embarrassed by admitting that.
