Two Different Worlds [[Cheng x Fem Reader]]

Fight at the Park

No ones POV

Y/n got to the park and looked around at everyone

She was surprised to see so many kids there in the middle of the day , but it was a sunday

She looked around until she spotted Harry and she walked to him

She waved at him and then at Dre

"Oh hey y/n you made it " Dre said and went to high five her but she just stood there

"What?" She said and he shook his head and chuckled "nothing let's play!" He said grabbing the basketball

Harry looked to y/n 你知道怎麼玩嗎？(you know how to play?)" Harry asked y/n and she shook her head "不，不是真的(no , not really)" y/n repsonded and Harry smiled "沒關係，你可以學習(its alright you can learn)" Harry said and threw the ball to the others and the game started

The ball went around to y/n a few times and she did what they told her to and she was pretty good

She then passed the ball to Dre and he literally threw it over the hoop

They all looked at him and muttered things
"Sub...sub...I got sum...jet lag...yeah ima just" he pointed away and walked to where the ping pong players were

Y/n chuckled and continued playing with the others till they had to go .

Her , Harry and Dre sat together "you gonna talk to her or what?" Harry told Dre , y/n didn't understand so she lost track in her mind

She watched as the other kids played together , like tag and some elders played with the young ones , she smiled and wondered if her and her father could ever live the same again

After her mom left her and her dad  and her dads work party everything was different

She couldn't help but hope her mom would one day maracusly show up and she did just up and leave and they could live happy in China forever

But she knew better than to think like that

Y/n was brought out of her thoughts when she her a smack and the sound of someone hitting the pavement

She looked up to see a boy in jeans and a stripped shirt looking down at Dre

Y/n stood up and ran to Dre's side and looked at him with sorry

She then heard the kid say something in english

"Move , get away from him girl!" He said but y/n didn't understand and just looked back and fourth from him to Dre

"Are you deaf? I said move!" He yelled and she shook her head "나는 당신을 이해할 수 없습니다!(I can't understand you!!)" Y/n yelled , she forgot in moments notice that she knew Chinese and this kid most likely knows it too

The kid tilted his head at her "what..what did she say!?" He yelled at his friends "나는 당신을 이해할 수 없다고 말했다!!!!(I said I can't understand you!!)" She yelled at him

This is when Harry came in to speak for y/n

He knew a little korean so he understood her

"Cheng! She doesn't understand English!" He yelled and Cheng scoffed

"Well tell her to get out the way" he said pointing at y/n

Y/n turned to Harry as he grabbed her arm "도망쳐(get away...) " he told her and she shook her head

"아니 - 나는 그가 다칠 수 없어!(no- I can't he is hurt!)" Y/n yelled pointing at dre , but Harry pulled her away anyway

She cringed as the known as Cheng stood from to Dre as he got up putting his hands in a fighting form

Y/n shook her head and yelled "stop!!!" But because of her accent being so thick it didn't sound right , it wasn't easy to understand

Dre got tripped and thrown around and punched , but he was still going , he was knocked down and Cheng was distracted and Dre threw a right book to Cheng's face

The casused Cheng to fall but he jumped up and started throwing punches at Dre and he kicked him down

At that Cheng found that the boy has withstood enough and called his group of friends to leave

The kids that gather leaft and the only ones left was Meiying Dre Harry and Y/n 

Meiying went to Dre's side and kept asking if he was okay

Dre was angry and told her he was fine and to leave him alone .
With that harry and Meiying left leaving y/n to look at Dre "are you...okay?" She asked in English , which was barely understandable

See yelled "leave me alone!!!" Y/n sighed and walked away

Y/n saw that everyone went back to normal , she thought it was weird that no one was helping Dre but she shook it off and decided to go for a walk around town

It was needed

She took out her wallet at a food stand and bought some ice cream in a cup

She smiled and ate it while sitting down on a bench

She was enjoying her food till a boy that she recognized approched her "ah its you" he says in english and she tilts her head .

She looked at the two by his side assuming them to be his close friends

She looked between them waiting for them to say something in Chinese so she could understand

But they chose to annoy her instead

"So what's your name girl?" The boy in the middle known as Cheng said to her

She looked at Cheng with a face of confusion , they knew she didn't speak that much English and they used it against her

Cheng laughed "should I take her ice cream?" He asked his friends

And they laughed and said yeah

Cheng then snatched the ice cream from her causing y/n to stand up "여기요!!(Hey!!)" Y/n yelled "돌려 줘!!(give it back!!)" She yelled , she didn't understand which made y/n want to laugh in a way she scoffed "混蛋，我說把它還給我!!(asshole I said give it back!!)" She yelled in Chinese finally deciding she didn't want to be misunderstood

Cheng smiled "she she can speak Chinese" she said with a laugh "為什麼？看起來真的不錯(why? It looks really good)" he said with a smirk

"因為它是我的，所以我付了錢！！(because . its mine I paid for it!!)" She yelled and Cheng smirked grew "它不再是你的了(its not yours anymore)" Cheng said and stepped back with a smirk before walking away

Y/n groned "그리고 나는 더 이상 돈이 없어 나머지는 아파트에 두고 왔어(And i dont have anymore money i left the rest at the apartment )" she whined as she kicked the ground beneath her and walked away

She sighed and decided she would get more after school tomorrow

She smiled , she wanted to have a good day so she will try to

She went home with a smile on her face
