Two Different Worlds [[Cheng x Fem Reader]]

An Old Friend!

No ones POV

"He likes me?" Y/n said to herself as she walked down the hallway , the bell had rang long ago , she had stayed after school to talk with her teacher , she couldn't go during lunch because she got caught up with Dre and Cheng

"He...likes me?" She asks herself again , y/n never really considered that a boy would ever like her , especially if he found out about her being bisexual

She thought it'd ruin things between any boy she would ever meet

The thought of a boy liking her....she wasn't ready to accept it , not at all

But the teacher had told her being in denial for too long causes trouble , she said to get to know the boy better before doing anything , she said that getting with someone you're unsure of liking hurts the both of you

Y/n definitely had that one saved in her brain

But one though created a plague in her brain

"Would Change really like me?" She thought out loud , luckily no one was there to hear her rant to herself

But she thought it'd be impossible for Cheng to ever like her , she wouldn't even consider it

And she definitely wouldn't consider that she ever had feelings for him too.

"This boy is just confusing....."

Y/n was at the park sitting on a bench reading her music , sight reading wasn't her strong suit , she was never good at it

It was an assignment given by the music instructer

They needed to analyze it , and play it the next day  , and she didn't know any of it , she couldn't even understand it , she might have known how to speak english and understand it , Cheng nor Dre ever taught her how to read it correctly

She thought she wouldn't have to go through that because well.....its China , and most people speak and write in Chinese

But this assignment happened to be in english

And she couldn't understand a single bit of it

Y/n sat on the bench staring at the paper with a annoyed face , she couldn't read it , and when she couldn't read what she needed she got annoyed

Thats when a figure stepped in front of her

"Hey man , long time no see right?" The feminine voice rang out , this caused y/n to jerk and look at the girl standing in front of her

"Nao-yin!!" She yells dropping her papers and throwing her arms around the taller girls neck

"Yeah , its me!!" Nao-yin responds wrapping her arms around the shorter girls waist

After a few seconds they pull away "you came , you actually came  , and you know english too!!" Y/n smiled as she ranted on like a child

Nao-yin smiled and nodded "yes I did , just for you" she said , she took had a thick accent when she spoke in english

The two sat down on the bench together and Nao-yin tried to help y/n understand the homework , but Nao-yin couldn't really read it either

As the two tried to analyze the homework , Cheng showed up in front of y/n

"Never thought I'd ever see you do homework at the park " he said with a grin on his face

Nao-yin's face lit up "이것이 당신이 말했던 그 소년입니까!?(is this the boy you told me about!?)" Nao-yin yelled hitting y/ns arm

Y/n jerked herslef to look at Nao-yin

"야! 입 닥쳐!! 나 여기있어!!(hey! Shut your mouth I'm right here!)" Y/n responded with an urgent tontone그리고 네, 그렇습니다(and yes , it is)" she added and Cheng tilted his head

He had learned some korean at lunch but all he could make out was the words "boy " "shut up " and "yes"

Nao-yin smiled and jumped like a kid

"야! 애 취급 좀 그만해!!(hey! Stop your acting like a kid)" y/n said and Nao-yin settled down

"Who is this?" Cheng asked pointing to Nao-yin

Y/n smiled "this is Nao-yin , she is my best friend from Korea!" Y/n said with a smile

Cheng nodded "its nice to meet you Nao-yin " Cheng said with a smile and Nao-yin nodded "same for you , y/n has said lots and lots about you!" She said , over sharing

Y/n felt a red hue come to her face , embarrassment of what her friend said with knowing that Cheng was there made her spiral

"Ah so she talks about me to her firends?" Chneg said teasingly "i hope all said was good" he continued

Nao-yin nodded "yes all good , all very good actually! She even said that she-" Nao-yin started but got cut off by y/n hitting her
"야 씨발 닥쳐!!!(dude shut the fuck up!!)" Y/n yelled "당신은 말을 많이!(you talk too much!)" She added and Nao-yin smirked as she saw her friend get red in the face

Cheng noticed it too which brought a smug smirk to his face too , annoyingly so y/n noticed his smirk

Cheng knew whatever Nao-yin said it had made y/n flustered to the point of noticeable blushing .

It made him amused , only very few people can make her flustered like that , and surprisingly he wanted to be one , he surprised himself by the need to be one of those people

He looked to the side as red started to capture his face , he waited till the red went away to look back at the two girls

He then saw the homework "hey Liang has the class too , he said it was easy , why haven't you done it?" He asks pointing at it

Y/n blushes with embarrassment , she didn't wanna admit that she can't read , well can't read English to be specific

He tilted his head
"會回答嗎？(gonna answer?)" He asked with a teasing tone which drove y/n crazy

Nao-yin just watched the two with a smirk

"I uh" y/n started but Nao-yin finished for her

"She can't read her homework " she finished for y/n , y/n gasoed and hit her friend "Nao-yin!!" She yelled

Cheng only smirked "can't read english huh?" He said teasingly as Nao-yin pulled y/n twards her making room for Cheng by y/n

"Here sit next to her and help!!" She says a smirk still embedded on her face

Cheng smiled as he sat down next to y/n , there wasnt much room so the two were closer than they preferd

Y/n then remembered what happened at lunch and she gripped her papers harder

Even with her grip Cheng still managed to take the paper from her

He ended up translating the whole paper into English on a separate peice of paper for her

She smiled and thanked him before he left

Nao-yin smiled

"You two are so cute together!" She said making  y/n grow red in the face

Heyaaaaa , this chapter was a little rushed , its mostly a filler for next chapter , cause the next few chapters are going to be a lot and I wanted some fluff in this one before a lot goes down in the next few chapters
