"I can't help but wonder if your parents neglected to instill in you the basic respect for women, or if they did try, only to end up with a son like you who lacks manners," Lisa remarked nonchalantly, fixing a blank yet piercing stare on the man.

The guy was clearly offended by her words; his face twisted in anger, his nose almost appearing to emit imaginary smoke.

I didn't think much of Lisa's protective nature; it was just typical of her. However, something caught my eye.

Was that a hint of a blush on Jennie's cheeks? Despite her earlier aura of intimidation and coldness, she now appeared almost demure, like a shy girl.

A brief smirk formed on my face as a thought unexpectedly sparked in my mind.

"We're all on the same wavelength," Jisoo whispered suddenly.

I glanced at her, noticing a quick smirk dancing on her heart-shaped lips. Turning to Seulgi and Tzuyu, I found them mirroring the same expression.

"What did you say?" the guy demanded, clearly agitated.

"I thought you were just rude, but turns out you're deaf too," I said, playfully shaking my head and clucking my tongue. I hammed it up, pretending to be utterly disappointed.

"What the heck?! Who do you think you are to insult me like that, huh?!" He exclaimed, his voice rising as he appeared prepared to attack me.

"Mr. Jay Park! Head to the guidance office immediately!" the former SGC President's booming voice echoed through the cafeteria, startling everyone.

Clearly, the guy is restraining himself. He was on the verge of getting physical, but someone intervened to prevent any further escalation.

What a rude, deaf, unlucky man.

The guy, with his obedient followers trailing behind him, began to walk out of the cafeteria but they stopped in front of us.

"Looks like luck is on your side today. But remember, choose your words wisely next time. You never know who you're messing with," the guy mumbled cryptically before they sauntered out of the cafeteria.

"Of course, we don't. Who even are you to be known anyway?" Chanty quipped, rolling her eyes.

Without a shadow of a doubt, she's a gentle-hearted soul, but her sassiness and candid nature set her apart. Her words cut sharper than a sword.

"Hey, I'm sorry again. I know this is the second time," IU apologized, even though it's not her fault.

"They didn't do anything to us, only to her. I'm certain they did something to her," Jisoo remarked, pointing towards the distressed girl.

"Yue," IU softly murmured.

"I-I'm s-sorry, Unnie," the trembling Yue apologized, clearly holding back tears.

"Let's go, we'll report them again," IU declared, moving towards Yue and placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Report them again?" Lisa inquired.

"Yue has been facing continuous bullying from Jay and his friends ever since she transferred here," Irene explained.

"Repeatedly bullied? And you're planning to report them again?" I questioned, seeking clarification before drawing any conclusions.

"You ticked off Jay by calling him deaf, but you're no different," the loud woman chimed in, speaking up for the first time since joining us.

I glanced at her and rolled my eyes, making sure she caught my reaction.
