A shrill cry echoed from around the corner as I walked past with my brown hair flowing as I walked, so many tall buildings surrounded around me in the city. This place was full of people laughing and talking amongst one another. The streets was filled with roaring cars going past destined to be somewhere. The wind was light and airy just enough that it was still warm, I walked into a tall glass building which is my work to be exact. I'm known to be an accountant at the LA Beverly Hills accountant building. Everyday I take a twenty eight minute train ride from Santa Monica to Beverly hills for work or to see friends.

I strut to my little office tucked away in the far corner, far enough I don't have to deal with all the annoying employee's that work in the same part as me. They seem to think that we are friends even though all the only thing they like to talk about is either there dog or their meal they had for dinner last night. Honestly I don't give two craps about what their pet looks like nor what they ate the night before. "You seem happy this morning Ermina what's with the happy face?" A lady peeked her head around my office wall, it was my boss Kenny Mitchell. Lovely lady her, she had light brown straight hair and green eyes and she always had red lipstick that wasn't to bright and a colorful outfit that matched somehow perfectly. Everyone knew that she was had Telekinesis but she used it quite maturely unlike some. "Oh just having a great morning I guess!" I say with glee. Kenny smiled once again and then walked off to do other things as she was a busy lady of course.

The time flew by and next thing I knew it was six o'clock finally I could go home. I said my goodbyes for the night and grabbed all my belongings and left the building. My black tote bag strap kept falling down my shoulder and I was about ready to throw it when suddenly SKKRRT. A car hadn't seen me crossing the road and had to slam on it's breaks. "Jesus!" I shrieked that car had almost given me a heart attack! The car honked at me many times as I held my chest and quickly walked across the road. I found a seat just nearby and sat on it to catch my breath. "You alright there?" A young man asked. I looked up to see a tall blonde haired guy. I couldn't help but laugh at myself and how ridiculous I felt. "Ma'am?" He said trying to get an answer out of me, I could tell he was worried by his voice. "Yea! Don't worry I'm fine." I say smiling at him. He just nodded and walked away as if nothing happened. What a strange guy I thought to myself, I finally caught my breath and my heart beat slowed back to normal. I quickly walked down to the train station where I would meet my train and finally go home.

Finally I took a step off the crowded train and sighed. Finally back home in Santa Monica . I walked my way home as it started getting dark. It was nice in Santa Monica because it isn't crowded with as many people and cars as Beverly Hill has.

BZZ my phone started buzzing. I quickly searched through my black tote bag and pulled out my phone that was buzzing and it had unknown number on the screen. Of course I picked up I do every time someone calls. "Hello, Ermina speaking.?" I heard Muffed breathing through the phone which gave me quiet a fright, "Hello?" I said again. "I swear if you are prank callers don't call again!" I hung up and kept walking until I came up to my lovely white beach house right along the sea side. BZZ, My phone rung again and I picked up ready to yell at them to stop calling but this time it said a word? "You." It said very muffled I really couldn't tell if this was a prank or not.. "Me what about me?" They phone then Unexpectedly hung up. Who was that? What do they want from me?

I just brushed it off and walked up my house and grabbed my keys to unlock the door. I walked inside with a big sigh and chucked all my stuff on the counter. I sloped on the couch to scroll through the channels on tv. I ended up choosing a random tv show that I had been watching for the past week. I got up and walked over to the fridge to pick out what I wanted for dinner. I picked homemade pizza as I wanted something fun for dinner tonight then someone knocked on the door so I had to put all my things down. As always I walked over to the door and opened it. "Ermina my lovely daughter!" It was my father... "Oh hey Dad" he went in for a hug so I had to hug him back. I've had a lot of trouble with my Father as he wasn't a great person when I was young. He tried to bite me one time and I've always wondered why? He's an odd person and very untrustworthy. "Come in." I said leading him into the lounge. "Wow a place you got on the beach kiddo!" He said smiling and getting comfortable on my couch. "Dad.. Why are you here?" I said starting to make my pizza.

His smile faded he knew I was going to ask him that question. I hadn't seen him in over two years yet I've been enjoying it. "Kid I-" I interrupted him annoyed "Don't give me that lecture you gave me two years ago." I said it firmly but it had to be said. "I want to fix our relationship I promise I've changed I really have!" He looked shocked that I was so firm against him but what does he expect? "No, you said you changed last time and that was a lie if you came here just to tell me that the door is over there." I pointed at the door and glared at him. His attitude changed and he snapped. "How dare you. HOW DARE YOU? You are just like your mother." He yelled. He got up and walked to the door. He opened it and looked at me. "You will regret this." He turned away and slammed the door. I scoffed and continued with my night.

I couldn't sleep. So much happened today. The car then the calls then my father... what does he mean I will regret this? This day is so unpredictable I swear. I turned over and tried to go back asleep curious of what was next...
