Jeff's* pov*
The next evening I was walking along the boardwalk towards the docks after working a hard shift in all out wrestling company a company that I worked for and I ended up with a twisted wrist injury but that wasn't stopping me and the guy from yesterday wasn't there yet so I decided to go for a Quick walk around the park and jumped startled because of Darby.
Darby:* laughs* sorry but I told you to be careful
Jeff: darn it don't scare me like that and thanks for making me jump
Darby: well I've been told I'm pretty sneaky
Jeff: so what do you do for work
Darby: all out wrestling company you?
Jeff: no way me too how come I don't see you around
Darby: I stay hidden in plain sight unless you know me and sting
Jeff: ofcource good ol' sting how could I forget his tricks
Darby: actually he's been helping me get used to the company I've only been there for a couple months
Jeff: well I wish you luck and if you need anything ask for me I'm easy to find
Darby:* smiles* alright I'll remember that and by the way put ice on your bruises mr. Crazy
Jeff: will do but I'm not that crazy
(Two years later)
Darby's*pov*
After heading out from hanging out with the guy I realized that I was starting to get feelings for him after my buddies wanted me to get him out of the company and I've been playing buddies with him because I was falling for him and it was going to start showing I didn't know what I was getting myself into but I knew that I was bound to find out. As I walked home to my run down shitty one story falling down house in the middle of nowhere and I had to admit it looked like crap but it was better than the streets and sleeping on a bench or in my car as I walked inside my two pugs sugar and spice instantly ran up and started barking and whining which they always did they were my furry babies and I always spoiled them so I went to the fridge and got them their treats and made them their food and then made an easy quick fish fry for me and fell asleep on the couch with the dogs like I usually did even though they had their doggy beds they slept with me which was comforting.
The next morning I was running late for work bolting for my car which was run down and didn't want to start at all so I decided to just skateboard it to work I ended up forgetting my face paint and I had to track down sting my tag team partner to barrow his because I was having a really horrible day so far as I walked into his dressing room I noticed the guy I hung out with was talking to sting and I was trying not to get noticed by him but that plan sunk quicker than a battle ship.
Sting: hey Darby your late what's going on your never late
Darby: sorry sting had trouble with the car again so I used my skateboard
Sting: ah Darby you could have asked me to pick you up oh this is Jeff Hardy by the way
Darby:*smiles and chuckles* oh we've met no worries by the way uh sting can I barrow your face paint I forgot mine
Sting: go ahead
After getting my face paint done I headed out of the room and took a breather until sting came out with Jeff and started noticing how I was acting around Jeff I figured he'd be the first to catch on.
Sting: so you like him huh
Darby:* looks confused* uh what do you mean by that man
Sting: Darby it's obvious that you have feelings for him so just tell him the truth man
Darby: I can't just up and tell him he doesn't even know me that well
Sting: Darby my man have faith in yourself and him maybe he will feel the same
Darby: I doubt it nobody dates a freak like me who has no fear of death and has cheated death more times than the devil himself likes I mean come on who else can walk away from being hit head on by a truck
Sting: true but you have been lucky to still be alive Darby
Darby: true but I mean not alot of people like me
Sting: just talk to him you never know until you try
Darby: alright alright I'll talk to him if it'll shut you up
Sting: Atta boy now let's deal with our match and go eat I'm starving
Darby: shouldn't I be saying that since I was late and didn't eat
