family: melinda donovan (mother; alive; not present) peter donovan (father; deceased when taron was 24) pearl donovan (younger sister; deceased when taron was 27, so the wound is still fresh) backstory: taron grew up in augusta, maine, until he was fourteen years old, where he moved to reston, virginia where he still resides to this day. he was an only child for most of his life, until he was twenty years old, when his sister, pearl, was born. but, before then, when they lived in reston, taron began to play baseball. his coach was a weird man, who began to touch the members of the team in 'reward' for doing good in games. the boys were only 8-10 years old and a grown man of 50 preyed on them. this was only the start of taron's sexual trauma. it only continued into his adult years with the influence of alcohol in his system. he absolutely loved her, and he was her primary caretaker as his mother and father never wanted a second child. pearl was born with a terminal heart defect, and she didn't live for very long. she only lived until she was about seven years old. during her seven years of life, peter, the pair's father, died of a heart attack. when pearl died, taron stopped speaking to his mother, and he took a new job after completing his residency to distract himself from mourning his little sister. and that job was the medical examiner of the fbi office in quantico, virginia, where he met will graham. someone who he'd become very close with. and then he would meet someone who would help him truly mourn the loss of pearl. past relationship: none, with taking care of pearl and going through medical school, he never had the time for a serious relationship. current relationship: will graham (status; crushing, co- workers to lovers, friends to lovers, closeted shit.) hannibal lecter (status; secret sexual/emotional relations, doctorxpatient, more closeted stuff, no romance) occupation: medical examiner for the federal bureau of investigations in quantico, virginia.
