Friday Pov

I finished with my side of the room as Wednesday was typing her novel so I laid down on my bed. I pulled out a brain licker as I saw movement in the corner of my eye. I sat up to see Wednesday's supposedly empty bed moving.

"Wednesday what's on your bed?" I asked making her look at me then her bed.

She got up and walked over to it to pull the covers back.

"I knew it." She said picking up Thing. "Hello Thing." She said as I got up. "Did you think my highly trained olfactory sense wouldn't pick up on the faint whiff of neroli and bergamot in your favorite hand lotion?" She asked him putting him on the desk. "I could do this all day." She said squashing him into the desk. "Surrender?" She asked glancing at me.

He quickly and frantically tapped on the desk.

"Mother and father sent you to spy on us, didn't they?" She asked letting him go.

"I'm not above breaking a few fingers." I said making him sign something. "That they thought we wouldn't find out proves how much they underestimate us." I said looking at Wednesday.

"Oh, Thing, you poor, naive appendage." Wednesday said looking at Thing. "Our parents aren't worried about us. They're evil puppeteers who want to pull our strings even from afar." She added on making me nod.

"The way I see it, you have two options." I told Thing with a smirk.

"Option one." Wednesday said as I opened the draw. "We lock you in here for the rest of the semester, and you go slowly insane trying to claw your way out, ruining your nails and your smooth, supple skin. And we all know how vain you are." She said looking down at me.

"Option two." I said as Wednesday closes the drawer. "You pledge your undying loyalty to us." I said looking down at Thing.

"Our first order of business is to escape this teenage purgatory." Me and Wednesday said at the same time.

He started signing something making me scoff.

"Of course we have a plan." Me and Wednesday said at the same time. "And it begins now." We added on at the same time.

I was in the back seat of Principle Weems car dying my tongue blue with a lollipop.

"Dr. Kinbott's office is on the second floor." Principle Weems told us. "Other Nevermore students swear by her." She added on before looking at me.

She took my lollipop off me making me roll my eyes. I pulled out another one when she wasn't looking.

"You'll be here until we're done?" I asked making her look at me.

"How many lollipops do you have on you?" She asked taking it out my hand.

"I won't say." I said making her sigh.

"Perhaps afterwards we can visit the Weathervane for hot chocolate." She said making me scoff.

"I already have coffee." I said pulling out my flask.

"Principal Weems, this feeble attempt at bonding is beneath you." Wednesday told her as she reached for her bag. "And chauffeuring your students around is below your pay grade." She added on opening the door and getting out.

"Given your history, I'm sure you're intent on running away." Principle Weems said as I got out. "I'm here to prevent that from happening." She continued making me scoff.

"I wish you luck." Me and Wednesday said at the same time as I opened a lollipop.

I slammed the door closed as Wednesday looked at me.

"How many of them do you actually have on you?" She asked making me shrug.

We opened the door to the the therapist and Wednesday let me in first. We went up the stairs to see a blonde woman there.

"I read the notes from your school counselor." She began as I opened another lollipop making her look at me.

"Mrs. Bronstein. She had a nervous breakdown after our last session and had to take a six-month sabbatical." I said with a smirk.

"Go ahead and take a seat." Dr. Kinbott said sitting down.

I sat down next to Wednesday in front of Dr. Kinbott. I looked around for places we could leave through.

"How did you feel about that?" Dr. Kinbott asked us.

"Vindicated." Wednesday told her making me roll my eyes.

"But someone who crochets for a hobby isn't a worthy adversary." I said making Dr. Kinbott look at me.

"Adversary?" She asked me before looking at both of us. "I hope we can forge a relationship based on trust and mutual respect." She said making me raise an eye brow.

Wednesday sighed a I rolled my eyes.

"This is a safe space, girls." She told us. "A sanctuary where we can discuss anything. What you're thinking, feeling, your views on the world, personal philosophy." She continued on.

"That's easy. I think that this is a waste of time." I spoke up making Wednesday and Dr. Kinbott look at me.

"We see the world as a place that must be endured, and our personal philosophy is kill or be killed." Wednesday continued on for me.

"So, for instance, when someone bullies your brother, your response is to dump piranha in the pool and boil up the water until there was nothing left." Dr. Kinbott said looking between us.

"You know the old saying, never bring a knife to a sword fight." Wednesday said making me smirk.

"Unless it's concealed." I continued on for her.

"Point is, you both assaulted a boy, and showed no remorse for your actions." Dr. Kinbott said looking between us both. "That's why you're here." She added on.

"He lost his life after he fell." I making Dr. Kinbott look at me. "I did the world a favor. People like Dalton should know he can't get away with everything." I continued as she looked startled.

"We've answered your questions." Wednesday said as we got up at the same time.

"We're not done yet." Dr. Kinbott said making me and Wednesday look at each other.
