After Izuku and Hitoshi got in stage, Present Mic started explaining the rules for the tournament.

"The rules are simple. Immobilize your opponent of force them out of the ring. You can also win by getting the other to cry uncle! Bring on the injuries, we've got our very own Recovery Girl and many other healing Quirks. So put your morals aside and don't be afraid to play dirty!" The Hero said and Y/N wore a tiny smirk.

"[I give up], huh?" Shinsou muttered and Midoriya looked at him. "This is a fight to test the strength of your spirit. If you know what you want for your future, then you can't worry about appearances."

"Ready? Begin!" The Voice Hero said.

"That monkey was going on about his pride... But don't you think he was dumb for throwing away his chance?" Hitoshi enquired, Izuku gritted his teeth and started running to him.

"What did you say-" He started but stopped talking and moving.

"I went through the trouble of warning him, too!" Ojiro whined and Y/N looked at the two fighters, trying to understand what was happening.

"Huh?! What's the deal?! The match just started and Midoriya is completely frozen?! He's got a blank look in his face and isn't moving a muscle!" Present Mic shouted and Eraser Head sighed.

"This is why I say that the Entrance Exam is irrational. Shinsou has a strong Quirk but since the Hero Course exam was against faux Villains, he failed."

"You know, you're lucky that you've been blessed, Izuku Midoriya. Now turn around and walk out of the bounds." The purple haired boy said and Izuku followed his instructions.

Answering his questions turns on a brainwashing switch in his opponent's brain, forcing them to do what he says. If he doesn't want the brainwashing switch to turn on, it won't!" Present Mic declared.

"Ooh, that's a cool Quirk." Y/N muttered and saw Izuku getting closer to the bounds. "I don't know what you're going to do, Izuku, but now seems to be the right time to do something." He said, and just before crossing his line of the bounds, Izuku stopped, a strong shockwave blew on the ring and the boy was panting and had two broken fingers.

"What's this? Midoriya stopped just in time!" The Voice Hero shouted, the crowd cheered and Y/N sighed in relief.

"Whoa I really freaked out." Ojiro said. Izuku continued to pant a bit, turned around and started walking toward Hitoshi.

"Impossible! You're not supposed to be able to fight back! What did you do?" The guy from General Studies asked but Izuku covered his mouth so that he wouldn't answer. "How did you do that? Come on say something. Honestly, I'm kind of jealous. I didn't know you had so much power in your fingers." The boy continued asked talking but Izuku remained silent and started running. "Thanks to the way my Quirk works, I've always been at a bug disadvantage. But someone as blessed as you wouldn't understand that. You're lucky enough to have a heroic Quirk! It'll be so easy for you to reach your goal!" He continued and Izuku began to push him. "Say something, damnit!" Hitoshi gritted his teeth in frustration and punched Izuku, stopping him only a short moment. Midoriya pushed him again to the bounds and Shinsou started pushing his face away. "You've gotta be kidding! Get out of this ring, you lucky brat!" He shouted, Midoriya grabbed him, threw him over his shoulder and slammed him on the ground.
