Your pov

I froze

"Hello father"

I said to him but he glared at Gaston

"Who is he?"

"A friend"

My dad then walked over to Gaston

"If you ask me for my daughter's hand your out"

Then dad walked away making Gaston look at him confused then his face turned into a snarl

"Your father seems....lovely"

He said lovely with poison

"I'm sorry he just tired of all the men that only come to him to ask for my hand"

"How many men died for your hand already?"

"Four"

He turned to me and looked me up and down

"I see why"

I glared at him

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"If I'm honest you are the prettiest woman I've ever seen well second atleast"

I looked at him and I saw him sit down on a Couch

"Thank you for the compliment but second who's the first?"

"My love,belle well not exactly my love"

"What do you mean by that?"

"What I mean is she always turned me down when I asked her to marry me"

"How many times shave you asked her?"

I looked at him shocked

"Lost count?and she declined you every single time?"

"That means she doesn't love you"

"If a woman declines you so many times that made you lose count means she doesn't love you and I know a lot of men came up to me to ask for my hand and I declined them so many times I also lost count"

"I know it must be difficult to understand but if you keep asking she'll lose more interest"

"And this beast you talked about maybe she fell for him"

"Well I would also rather fall for a beast then you"

He glared at me I then heard a knock on my door I looked at it then walked over to the door and opened it and groaned as I saw blade



"May I join you this evening?"

He said showing flowers into my face

"Sorry you have to ask my fa-"

"Oh come on y/n just let me join you this once"

"Sorry blade but you just ca-"

I then felt someone behind me they opened the door a bit wider to show themselves

"She said no so move it"

I immediately recognise the voice

"Who.are.you"

Asked blade glaring at Gaston

"That's none of your business now leave"

Blade did not leave I then felt Gaston push me behind him

"I said leave or I will make you leave"

"You aren't so tough you are all bark and no bite"

"Blade please just lea-"

"Oh I'm bark alright I can prove it here right now"

Blade smirked

"Alright go ahead show me what you go-"

Before he could finish Gaston punched him in the face I gasped as I saw blade holding his Nose he glared at Gaston I saw Gaston smirk then I suddenly saw Gaston punch him again but it seemed to be harder because blade fell to the ground passed out

I saw some people look at blade and they gasped as they saw him passed out suddenly I felt myself being pulled inside my own home and I heard the door close and I saw Gaston closing the door

"Now he deserved that and he said himself I was bark but no bite so I showed him I was bite"

"I didn't say anything"

"Your face says everything"

"I just want to say thank you for doing that"

"No problem"

"I better show you your room it is getting dark and I have to make food for us anyway"
