Chapter 1: Cecil Adams, start of the case

Start from the beginning

Allison: What's that?

Angel: Whenever I go to a crime scene, I find myself...imaging all the things that the victims went through, like I can see what's going on with them, like I'm at the scene.

Allison: (Looks at him) That's...such a rare gift.

Angel: I know. I don't know how, but maybe I'm...special or something. I really don't know how to explain it. That's why I kept it to myself for a while, until I needed to tell somebody about it.

Allison: Well, you know you can always tell me everything.

Angel: Because you're the one I trust the most.

She smiles, and kisses him on the lips. He kisses her back. They kiss for a moment, and end the kiss. They smile at each other, and she walks back to her desk. Just then, someone else comes knocking on the door. They both look, and see it's a friend of theirs. His name is Fisk, and he's a detective too.

Fisk: Kerry, Angel, I need you both to come with me. A body's been found.

They both look at him. They follow him out of the station, and he takes them to a crime scene. Crime scene photographers are taking pictures of the body. Fisk, Allison, and Angel arrive at the scene. Angel looks at the body as Fisk talks. The body is trapped in a tangle of razor wires.

Fisk: This man is a drug addict, who was arrested a few times. He was released from jail three weeks ago. Some people found the body in a old bed in a destroyed car.

Angel looks at the face, and recognizes him.

Angel: I know who he is. His name is Cecil Adams, one of my stepmother's patients, and the one who robbed it.

Allison: Wait. You mean, this is the guy who was the caused of your stepmother's miscarriage?

Angel: Yeah. When I caught him, he was sentenced to 15 years, but it reduced to 5 on a technicality.

Fisk: Well, then I'd say justice was served.

Angel: Yeah, it was. (Looks at the body) Wait.

He walks to the body, and looks at something on it.

Angel: Allison, look at this.

She walks to him, and kneels down with him. They see a piece of flesh is cut from his arm, like a puzzle piece.

Allison: What the heck? What is this?

Angel: I don't know. It must be a sign or something.

Angel then decides to use his gift. He touches the body, and closes his eyes. He opens them, and finds himself in a room. He then sees Cecil, and he's a seat, trapped, with his arms stabbed with razor blade restraints, his legs restraint, and a set of knives is in front of his face. Cecil is looking at someone, like he's looking at Angel. Then, Angel hears a sinister voice.

Voice: I want to play a game.

Angel looks around, but can't see anyone. He looks at Cecil.

Voice: Your life is a lie, Cecil. Now comes your moment of truth. As a drug adduct and a thief...you preyed on the kindness of others to fuel your addiction. Today, we bring the ugliness inside you out into the open. Now, in order for you to stay alive, we have to match your face with the ugliness of your soul.

Cecil screams as he looks at the knives. Angel, for some reason, is finding this relaxing, like he's glad to see that Cecil is suffering for what he has done to his stepmother.

Voice: You just lean forward...into the knifes, with your face...press hard enough...and you will release the arms and leg restraints that bind you. Press hard, though...and you'll be free.

Cecil: You--you sick freak! Screw you!

Voice: Or...you can sit idly and bleed out...on the floor. Live or die, Cecil. Make your choice.

Cecil: Screw you, you sick freak! Help!

Angel watches as Cecil then presses his face against the knives, and bleeds as he presses hard. He starts screaming in agony and pain as the blades cut his face. Then, the chair collapses, and he falls down on the floor. He is free. He holds his face to try to stop the bleeding. He stands up, and looks at where Angel is standing.

Cecil: Ohh...you're dead! You're freaking dead! Ha ha! Freaking dead!

He charges at Angel, who moves aside, and Cecil falls into the tangle of razor wires. He's screaming in great agony as he struggles to get out of the wires. Angel watches this. He sighs, and closes his eyes. He opens them, and finds himself back in the crime scene. He looks at Kerry.

Angel: Allison, he didn't die here. He died somewhere else, and was dumped here. I think we've got a killer out here.

She nods at this, and they both stand up. Looks like the police got some work to do.

Here's the first chapter of Son of Jigsaw: Saw. Looks like like Angel is about to take his case on the Jigsaw murders. And Allison Kerry is his girlfriend. And he has a gift that allows him to see what the victims went through on the traps. Pretty cool, huh? Let me know what you all think of the chapter. I hope you'll like it. Vote, review, and comment. Thank you.
