Y/N POV
It's been 3 months since the Avengers started helping me. Director Fury gave me 2 options, they could either remove all my memories and only keep my fighting and technical skills, or they could take everything out of my brain and put it back reprogramming it while doing so. I chose the latter. No matter how much I want to forget some things there're also things I can't and don't want to forget.

I've been in a cell the whole time. But doing the last month or so they've slowly let me out to do a few things, primarily just train which I'm pleased to have something to do besides staring at the wall all day.

Giant is the one who visits me the most. We've talked a lot and he has told me about his past, how he escaped, and the Avengers. I also learned they all call him Bucky and it was Steve who started it, but he couldn't remember his name in Hydra. I still choose to call him Giant, needing the comfort of still having something connected to my past, and having him by my side has made this whole thing just a little easier.

Natalia is the one who visited me the least. I've only seen her a handful of times and when she's here, she barely speaks and has her walls up. I don't blame her. I wouldn't visit me if I were her. I have gotten a little information about her from the others tho. I already knew she grew up in the Red Room. I did grow up being compared to her and learning what a traitor to the Red Room she was. But now she's one of S.H.E.L.Ds' best agents and she changed her name to Natasha when she did her transition to S.H.I.EL.D.

The others have also visited, not as much as Giant but I wouldn't expect that. I didn't expect any other than Giant to visit me. So maybe this won't be too bad.

Steve is the one who has visited me the second most. I'm guessing it's since Giant and him are so close. They've also stayed together. They were even allowed to take board games during the last month, which I'm guessing is because the reprogramming is almost finished. They both feel like big brothers to me.

Clint is the one who visited me the second least. Giant told me it's because Clint and Natalia are so close and insured me, she doesn't hate me but just has trouble trusting people and that she will warm up at some point. I'm guessing because she doesn't trust me and wants to protect Clint, she told him he wasn't allowed to visit me because it's some of the weirdest times he visits me. It's always late at night. Which is nice because I get nightmares and can't sleep. The thing is, he doesn't always come but he's there after the worst ones and sits there without asking me about it. It's nice, but definitely not a coincidence.

Tony and Bruce have visited somewhat the same number of times. It's okay talking to them. Tony can get a bit much most of the time with his big ego, sarcasm, and nicknames. Bruce doesn't talk that much but it's nice he tries.

I'm just sitting in my cell when I see Fury walk through the door and ask "Y/N, how are you doing?" "Nick, I'm doing as good as I can be locked in a cell what about you?" I say, sounding a little cocky. I asked Clint about Fury's first name a night not too long ago so I could tease him. To my surprise, he actually told me.

"Well, I came with good news but giving you just called me Nick I think I'll just go again," Fury says turning around and about to walk out again. "No, don't go I'm sorry," I say looking down. Fury snickers and says "It's okay. I came here to say you can finally get out of your cell. The medics just have to do some final test to make sure there isn't something we missed."

"Really!" I say with a smile on my face. He nods and my smile grows a little more, I'm still not used to showing emotions and like it, but I can't hold all my excitement.
