Ryan:

Ryan leaned against the wall casually, clearly trying to look cool.

You raised an eyebrow at him, wondering what the hell he was doing.

And then he opened his mouth. "Are you from Tennessee? Because you're the only ten I see."

You stared at him blankly, blinking. "That was horrible," you said nonchalantly.

"At least it was true?" he said nervously, rubbing a hand along the back of his neck.

"What?" you questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"What?" he repeated, copying your tone. He was internally freaking out. That reaction wasn't part of the plan.

Spyder:

"Are you a cat because I'm feline a connection."

You could only laugh at him. "Spyder, I really hope you weren't using that to be smooth."

He actually was, but at least he could say he got you to laugh.

Mark:

"I must be in a museum because you're a true work of art."

You raised your eyebrow at him. "So I'm an object that people bid on?"

Mark's eyes widened in shock.

That definitely wasn't the reaction he was expecting. "What, no! No, that's not what I meant----"

Harris:

"Are you in my chemistry class because I think we have chemistry."

"Please tell me you didn't get that from Spyder."

He had actually gotten it from Mark since Mark was a girl guru.

Mark was also an upperclassman like you were, so Harris had been hoping his advice would work.

Apparently you didn't like it, or find it laughable at the least.
