"It is hot outside", Taj asked walking to her closet.

"Nah not really, it'll probably be hot around like 4 or 5," Serenity said.

"Y'all wanna sit in the back or what", Taj asking walking into Anna Mae's Dinner.

"When can sit where we always-", Naja was cut off.

"I just know Nana and Taj ain't walk right past me and now say hello", Mrs.Mae said in disbelief.

"MRS.MAEEEEEE, I'm sorry I didn't even see you right there", Naja said running towards her.

"Girl please", Mrs.Mae responded.

"Ms.Mae you now we wouldn't do you like that", Taj said chuckling.

"Uh huh whatever child, y'all want the usuals or what", Mrs.Mae asked.

"You know it, but we gon need a menu for Serenity", Naja said.

"Well hey sweetie you back there all quiet," Mrs.Mae said grabbing a menu from behind the counter.

"Hey how doing", Serenity replied.

"I'm doing good honey, y'all gon head and sit down I'll get y'all some drinks", Mrs.Mae told them.

"So how has everyone been", Naja asked.

"I've been good, work be having me tired asf but it's good", Serenity said.

"Shit I bet it do you be running around with them kids all damn day", Naja said.

"It's not that bad once you get to know the kids it's easy to deal with them", Serenity explained.

"Nah I think it's just because you like kids", Naja laughed.

"Yeah probably, what about you though", Serenity asked Naja.

"Idk between work and this nigga, my plate is full", Naja shrugged.

"Girl you and Mazi irritate me", Taj chuckled.

"He just so stupid sometimes like I swear it's like potty training a toddler," Naja huffed.

"Y'all won't leave each other alone", Serenity said.

"Exactly y'all argue, block each other, and he ends up texting me or Ren trying to get you back", Taj said.

"It's hard though y'all we been messing around since 11th grade, we've been through a lot of shit together," Naja shrugged.

"Y'all gotta get it together then, y'all love each other too much to let each other go but when y'all are together you act like you hate each other", Serenity said.
