"Wake up, wake up" I heard my little cousin yell as he jumped on my bed tryna wake me up
"I'm up Damn" I mumbled sucking my teeth and jumped off my bed
"Oooo Ari said bad word" he said running out my room prolly to go tell my granny cause my momma don't care. I dosed back off to sleep knowing they prolly want me to help them cook
"Ari get yo ass up before I come in there wit a bucket of water" I heard my granny yell making me suck my teeth and groan
I sat up and checked the time seeing it was 8:06 "It's too early for dis shit man" I said sitting up then dragging to the bathroom to get ready
45 minutes later
"Took yo ass long enough" my granny said as I walked into the kitchen "unt uh get up and help cook" she said as I was bout to sit down making me suck my teeth
"Suck yo teeth again and imma knock 'em out" she mumbled as she grabbed the collard greens dat were already clean most likely wanting me to cut em up "here cut these up" she said giving them and a knife to me. I went to the counter and started cutting them up. After I finished I took em to the sink putting them in the sink starting to clean them. I grabbed a pot out the cabinet rinsing it out and put the collard greens in there then turned the stove on sitting the pot on there going to grab the potatoes dat was already cut up then dumped them in the pot wit the green beans and put the neck bone in the pot wit the collard greens. I was finished so I went to go wash my hands and sit down till the food was done since my granny, aunt, momma, daddy, and uncle made most of the food last night. My phone started ringing so I looked at it
