I woke up ta my phone ringing nonstop, I tried ta ignore it but they keep fuckin callin "what?" I groaned not even lookin ta see who it was
"Amari dead" Ben's voice flowed through my speaker
"What?" I asked tryna sit up but forgot Ari was layin on me
"Yea mane we found ha. Look like somebody sent foe ta ha dome" he told me. I sighed lookin down at Ari knowing it's gon break ha when she find out
"Whea y'all find ha at?"
"In ha room, da twins kept cryin so Tina got up ta check on em den she saw Mari in ha bed dead" he explained and I groaned
"We ca neva get a damn break mane. It's always some shit happening mane" I grumbled
"Dats cus of da life we live"
"Whea y'all at na?" I asked then heard shuffling
"We at da safe house right na, everybody else hea too so bring Ari and da kids" Ben told me
"Ite we comin" I told him then hung up. I shook Ari awake, I'm not gon tell ha right na but i'a tell ha tho "mama wake up" I shook ha again, she started ta stir in sleep befo ha eyes fluttered opened
She stretched befo lookin up at me makin a face "what's wrong baby?" She asked and I shook my head sittin up "what time is it?" She asked in ha sleepy voice tappin ha phone seeing it was 4:58
She sucked ha teeth layin back down "bae get up we gotta go" I pulled ha back up and she groaned
"Where are we goin at four in the morning?" She whined, I kno she not a morning person but we'on have time fa dis shit right na
"Sum happened so we needa leave asap" I said gettin up goin in ha closet grabbin a few duffel bags bringing it back ta our bed
"What happened and why do you have duffel bags?" She asked and I sighed
"Mane you askin too many questions just go pack Mani, Draco, and Tay some clothes so we ca go. I'a pack Baby K, Kacey, and Kamiri shit but leggo we'on have time fa all yo questions. I'a tell you everything on da way dere" I told ha sternly as I packed me and ha clothes. She grabbed three duffel bags befo walkin outta da room
