𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐲

todays the day! the day i finally get out of this boarding school

i've been here since i was 5 , can you believe that i've been here for 10 fucking years! a decade!

i was so ready to get out of this shit hole , i packed my things into my suitcase and walked to the office

"hi miss im all ready to go!" i said

"oh sweety we are gonna miss you!" she said before hugging me

i smiled

to be honest i wasn't gonna miss her

i was definitely not gonna miss her waking us up in the morning with her annoying ass bell

"i'll miss you too" i said lying

"ok well honey take a seat while we wait for your dad to come get you" she said

i went and sat down

i couldn't wait to see gwen and finney! and dad , and bruce!

god i couldn't wait to see everyone

i couldn't wait to sleep in my own room!

i couldn't wait to eat a home cooked meal!

i was beyond excited to go

all of a sudden i saw my dad walk through the door

"DAD" i yelled

i ran to him and wrapped my hands around him

"hi sweetheart" he said hugging back

"omg i couldn't wait to see you" i said

"i know me too , finney and gwen couldn't come cause they have school but they are SO excited to see you!" dad said

"omg! i can't wait to see them" i said

"alright let's go have you got everything?" he said

"mhm!" i said

i said good bye to the office lady's and we walked to the car

it was a 3 hour drive back home

i put my bags in the back of the car before hopping in the passenger seat

we started driving

i watched as i saw the boarding school get more far away as we drove

i know i said i couldn't wait to get out of there , but to be honest i am gonna miss it , i mean i made so many memories there , good and bad ones , i made friends and bonds that i will never forget

but i'm still excited to get back to normal schooling and making friends!

we pulled into the drive way

i quickly hopped out of the car and grabbed my bags

i was super excited , i ran and opened the door bursting into the house

it was still the same as i remembered it

"still the same isn't it" dad said smiling

"exactly" i said looking around

i ran to my room and opened my door

i ran over to my bed and flopped on it in a star fish pose

my dad came and stood at my door
